Haven't played 4,5 and Tierkreis, but you could put 3 in my "playing right now" list, although this list is HUGE.
My backlog of games I would like to finish is gigantic. Just to name a few RPGs which I began but never finished:
Suikoden 3, Earthbound, Grandia, Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Phantasy Star series, Lunar 1+2, Breath of Fire 3+4, SaGa series, Persona series including spinoffs, Tales series...

Yeah, shame on me for not playing all these awesome games. My big plan is to actually play pretty much every popular RPG series. HUGE task I know, but I'm a RPG freak O.o

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

It's been 5 years since a numbered Suikoden... have they killed off the franchise or something? This is crazy. Why is it taking so long? I'll buy any console this appears on (even that *ugh* WiiU).


I feel your pain im a huge fan of the suikoden games i even re bought the original on the psn network although suikoden 2 is the best its a shame that konami is sleeping on this great franchise.

Actually a lot of fans have that perception. I think Suikoden 3 is the best, but I am strange. (given I haven't played 4&Tactics&5).

oh well i actually havent played 5 yet lol, it just doesnt look as good. Ill eventually give it a go. and 4 is probably no ones favorite.

suikoden 3 will always be one of my top 3 favorite rpgs. it was just so unique from other jrpgs, the partner battle system, the 3 different styles of battles, the different viewpoints of the main characters and how they all converged, the three minor roles you can play, the 108 stars of destiny (i know this is a recurring theme in suikoden, but at the time it was the first game i ever played where you can recruit 108 unique playable characters), and most of all the true runes and the flame champion. i have played 1,2,3 and tactics. 2 probably would have been my favorite if i didnt play 3 first. i started 4 but i just couldnt get into it, and ive been searching high and low for the 5th one, its a very rare game, almost like ico. anyway, they definitely need to put the 6th one on this gen. i posted a thread a few months ago about this topic and im just going to reiterate what someone told me, konami is too focused on metal gear to worry about any other games.

I've only finished III and V. I enjoyed both greatly. It would be nice for them to announce a sequel already.

if not, that's a shame was a pretty good game, reminds me of suikoden 3 in the sense that their no war gameplay, you're just playing a story, even had anme cutscenes and voice audio.

of course i did. i just hated the 2 screens thing. and i dislike handhelds in general.

there was war gameplay in 3. just on a smaller scale.
