yea 2014 is my guse, and Wiiu is to early.

Nintendo is doing a normal generation cycle. Sony and MS are not and that's because they want to recoup what they lost plus MS want to push Kinect a bit more.

Nintendo isn't too early. MS and Sony are just going to come late.

That's good. I'm still enjoying my PS3 and the games Sony is pumping out.

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t  .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Works for me.

4 ≈ One

Released in 2014. Buying two or three years later when the big price drops and the big games have been launched. Hopefully PS4 and the Next XBox are backwards compatible with the current console generation games library.

Wii U to release in 2012 or 2013. Sony and Microsoft do not want to give Nintendo a two year head start to establish relationships with third party developers. Do not be surprised both Microsoft and Sony release a year after the Wii U launches. 2 years is too much of a head start.

Man I wonder if they actually have any kits or inside info from MS and Sony. Its also funny that these comments were made when they know Nintendo is launching WiiU in 2012. No shit theirs going to be a next gen console out by 2014 Nintendo confirmed its coming next year. The question is this developer ignoring Nintendo like every other developer did back when Wii was first announced.

Hello world, their were three consoles this generation and their will be three consoles next generation. Nintendo is actually in existance. I hate it when developers this gen talked about their games being on all major platforms just to find out they were only on 360/PS3/PC that is not all major platforms buddy infact Wii was the biggest platform last gen, not considering it a major platform is just pure idiocy.

Hopefully this game will be coming to WiiU as well. But it seems the developer has a lack of respect for Nintendo. If they said we are developing a multiplatform game for all the major next gen consoles and we expect the game to launch in 2014, that would be different. But to count Nintendo out, thats just being foolish!

Reminds me of PS2 vs. Xbox/Gamecube.

The PS2 launched one year before Xbox and Gamecube, despite the fact that Xbox and Gamecube are far more powerful than PS2 we all know who got the games throne.

I think the Wii U, with the support from many third parties AND the nintendo games will be a great success.

2014?
That'd be so damn awesome!

2 years is not too much of head start if they come up with something way more powerfull or attracting than the WiiU... first I don't expect the casuals that bought Wii to be on of the VG world news... and not sure they are even interested by a new console (remember those are not hardcore gamers, I know a ton of people with the Wii, Wii sport and Wii fit and they are all picking up dust) and the Wii60 and PSWii gamer out there will probably also wait for the next gen big jump if the news are their by then....

and when it comes to third party... well if they release a new console in 2014 they are already signing contracts for game realease then by the beggining of next year so that's a non issue too...

but we'll see it all depends what is their actual plan for the future and what direction they want to take.... for all we know one of them might stop the consol market and go a completely different direction :) ;P Jk

I still say the new Xbox will be released by 2013 at the latest, and as early as late 2012.
