"Clearly still offended, one of the judges sentenced the animal to death by stoning by local children."

Moderation is bad too. Fascism is extreme moderation.

And people criticise Muslims. LOL

Every religion has it's group of extremists. Oh well, it's their belief and as long as it doesn't effect you, it's whatever.

1. They're judges in a court of "law".

2. When people torture or kill animals, who should stand up for the animals' rights?

I agree 100% that people should stand up for animal rights. However, in countries like Israel where there are many social, economical and political problems, the rights of animals unforunately get shoved aside because people have other issues to worry about. This animal was fortunate enough to get the light of the media, but what about the thousands of animals that starve to death in those countries? How can support to animal right groups be given when the country has problems that I've listed above? So I should be the one asking you: who should stand up for the animals' rights?

Btw, I didn't know Jews believed in reincarnation. Either those judges are crazy or I just learned something new.

That is hilarious. The Coen brothers could make an awesome Black Comedy out of this.

OT: I don't think the dog should be stoned.

That's the best idea i've heard all week. They could make it animated and partially true for some real lulz (lawyer dies and goes into CG talking dog who just harrasses the hell out of the citizenry)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

IF people in Israel were so worried about the "social, economical and political problems" they have, they wouldn't be sentencind dogs to death by stoning and encouraging children to animal cruelty.

It would be cooler if it was ambiguous whether or not the lawyer was really reincarnated into a dog.

Some, (as in, "very few") can believe in reincarnation as a way of redeeming oneself for a previous life's misuse of a human's freewill.

However, the vast majority of orthodox Jews do not believe in reincarnation.
