Wii U sounds ok, Keeping the name Wii in the title could be a good move. They could have called it Wii me or Wii us, but anything could happen today.

Nintendo usually doesn't stick with the same name for more than 2 generations.

Game Boy (Color), Game Boy Advance (SP, Micro)

DS (Lite) (DSi (XL)), 3DS (they might stick with the DS name but perhaps drop it after 3DS)

NES, Super NES

Wii, Wii U (next home console system with probably drop the Wii name after the Wii U)
