So wait your telling me that Nintendo sent underpowered dev kits just so that no one knows how powerful this console will be not even the very people who are going to make games for them ?

Can you blame them?

I know this will change from now on. I'm kind of sure they kept it secret to see what the reception and critics said about the concept of the console and now they are deciding among three or more different hardware/price scenarios.

I don't think that there was a conspiracy to hide processing power ...

As a guess, Nintendo just wanted to engage third party publishers earlier to get development started earlier; and they wanted to get a development kit of some kind in the hands of developers months before it would otherwise happen. And this may require them to release multiple versions of their development kit before most other manufacturers would have released any kit.

is Nintendo ever organised? lol

I don't follow.  What's not organized about sending out newer dev kits?   Unless you think Sony and MS sent out final dev kits 12-18 months before console release.

JEMC, so long as you can run faster than the other guy, you'll be alright.  For the moment.

Q: Is that site you linked to... yours by any chance? :P

Not saying.  I've linked to a few sites over the years here but rarely do I link to my own.  Though keen eyed readers could probably make the right connection.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

the good is that we know for sure the Wii U can produce graphics at "bird tech demo" and "Zelda HD tech demo" or better, so it's alright for me!

the two tech demos definitely looks better than Ps3/Xbox360 good looking titles but it's not a gen graphics jump, so i guess Nintendo has to put some more graphics if they want to amuze the core

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
