Forums - Sony - Microsoft jab from Santa Monica employee!

All this post tells me is that the writer of the article a certain Peter Williams needs to have his credentials pulled. This is a prime example of manufacturing a story. Tim Moss I don't know him, and frankly I wouldn't care to know him. It is called having class. You know the thing he obviously doesn't have. Whatever happened to being a professional, or taking your job seriously.

Around the Network

Too many people on here are making a big deal out of nothing. There isn't really even anything negative about his comment; he just disagrees with Microsoft's approach. The man is a developer, so some replies posted here about gamers being able to choose how they play the game--kinect or controller--do not make sense. From a developer's point of view, he clearly doesn't like the idea of being eventually forced to incorporate a control mechanism like kinect into his future games. Since Sony likely isn't going to force the issue, their developers can decide for themselves whether or not motion control makes sense for their games. That's it. It is in no way negative.

Most readers are just trying to find something potentially negative about the comment, simply because it was posted by a person working for a rival company.

axumblade# So? That are devs that 'want' to use the move controller. And with buttons it have larger selections of games that it can work good for.

I wonder if he watched Sony's conference, where they confirmed move controls for the majority of the games that were talked about in their conference....

Move controls actually work for those games instead of being $150 microphone.

After seeing what Kinect can "listen to" at that conference, I can't really say that he's wrong...

Haha, fair enough.
