Pretty much as you described them. The more I see and here, the better I think it will be.

November will be a LOOONG wait...

November is indeed WAY to far.

I suppose. But hey, at least I have Ocarina Of Time  3DS to tide me over until then

I would love to get ocarina on the 3ds, but the 3ds to me isn't worth the money =(

For me it was more like this:

E3 2010: :)

GDC 2011: :D

E3 2011: <('-'<) (^'-')> <('-'^) (>'-')>

This, more or less.

Also, when the musical reversal was discovered, my hype for this game also greatly increased. It felt like an indication that there was for more to SS than meets the eye

Hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

the original trolls

Wii FC: 4810 9420 3131 7558
MHTri: name=BOo BoO/ID=BZBLEX/region=US

mini-games on consoles, cinematic games on handhelds, what's next? GameBoy IMAX?

This is how things have gone for me:

Original reveal - OMG! Blend of WW and TP! Exactly what I wanted!

Lack of news - Hm. Now I'm not so sure about the artstyle.  Not as whimsical as WW and not as epic as TP.  And the battle system... what if the whole game just relies on combat gimmicks?

Latest trailer - OMG!  Looks like a Ghibli film!

E3 press release - Blurring the line between dungeon and overworld?  Large, open world??  It's like everything I asked for after TP!

So yeah, I went from being all excited about a new Zelda, to being apprehensive due to the lack of news, to being super excited because it's fucking Zelda and it sounds amazing.

Still kinda worried about the combat, though.

Hey, that's your choice I suppose, but I'd say it's certainly worth the money

I'm hoping that the motion controls aren't needlessly shoehorned in, and are only used when required. I have a good feeling about this game...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Miyamoto said he's basically playing it every single day to tweak the game. That's all I really need to know.

I will buy this game when it's available. Have my impression changed on Skyward Sword, absolutely not. I have always liked the Zelda games and it's starting to look a little better than it did last year.

Well at the very least I may buy a 3ds used to play ocarina, just have to wait and see...

I hope the flying thing gonna be ok. It just felt a little bit boring...

It got so much better definitely... but is it Zelda-hype?

I don't know about you but I am very hyped for this game. It may very well be the last hardcore game for the Wii.
