Forums - Nintendo - All right gamrConnect, we're going to play Zelda games together!

Completed OoT... After the shadow temple I did the mask quest, and also did a bit of fishing (enough to get the heart piece as a youngster, then the golden scale as adult link) then went straight through Ganon's tower.

Ganondorf and Ganon are way too easy when it's the Xteenth time.

I ended up going straight to Windwaker instead of Majoras Mask as I couldn't wait... Windwaker still feels and looks amazing, I got up to Dragon Roost, and I think I must have cut down 95% of the grass I passed up to that point, it's oddly satisfying.

I saw this thread around the time it was posted but I was leaving for a week so I didn't want to start a game right before but now that I'm back I'm playing Twilight Princess again. I played it around the time it came out but I got bored of the game pretty fast and only played something like 15 hours. This time I'm enjoying it a lot more and I'm confident I'm going to complete it.

I finished the Goron Mines in Twilight Princess. I'm really trying to evaluate the dungeon designs this second playthrough of mine. I notice there weren't any real puzzles in this one, just tons of timed switches and various obstacles. But the most awesome part of this dungeon are the awesome twist they put on the Iron Boots - really refreshing take on an older, not-so-exciting item.

I FINALLY killed Gyorg!!!!

Just started on sunday Twilight Princess...again...for the tenth time :D

Around 7 hours, finished Goron Mines and obtain all the possible heart's pieces. Now I need to go to explore Hyrule with my arrow bombs. The twilight effect is still great, but the lack of difficulty stoped to be mindblowing.

I like the relationship that Link and Midna have in that part of the game. She is careless about the light world, and Link is only looking for their friends.

Both of them don't care about Hyrule.

I think I'll move on to Twilight Princess next, as well. I don't have any particular motive, except maybe that I want to evaluate its purported similarities with OoT while the latter is still fresh in my memory.

The hint in the Bottle Grotto drove me mad, the one that said "make the blocks match, and a way will open." until i figured out i could push those blocks.

Though now i'm having trouble beating "the captured Pols Voice," because i cannot figure out how to hurt that thing even when i let it out of its cage.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Question:

how in the hell do i get bananas in Link's Awakening? I go down to the alligator and he just keeps talking about his brother

Unless that's a hint, and in which case, where do i go?

Edit: nvm, i looked it up. how the hell would i have figured out to get the Yoshi doll?

Woot! That's one of the hardest bosses I have faced on Zelda series. How do you kill it? With our without arrows?

Without. Used Zora's fins instead.

I'm now almost at the Stone Tower Temple.

Woops, forgot to post this great song from Ikana's Ancient Castle.
