Zelda HD Demo runs 30 fps (with a lot of framedrop) without AA... and not even running in 1080p... the HD 4890 do that running Uncharted 2 together.

Don't know if you were at E3 or not, but from what I've widely heard from attendees, yes it was only 30fps, but without any framedrop and most certainly running in 1080p...

Wait a minute, did ethomaz claim that the Radeon HD 4890 ran Uncharted 2 at 1080p?

I would like to see evidence for that claim ...

No. O claim that the HD 4890 ran Crysis at 1080p .

Crysis is more heavly and beatiful than Uncharted 2... so I said the HD 4890 could run Zelda HD Demo and Uncharted 2 together both in 720p (like the demo showed).

The HD 4890 is powerful even for today standards.

Sorry, just read what he quoted was a little surprised by a claim like that.

The framedrop could be the video I whatched (or my connection)... but the game is running in 720p upscalled to 1080p... the screean released show that.

Yeah, the screenshot seems to back your claim, so you're likely right about the resolution being upscaled.

For now yes... that's the only evidence we have .

If I see other evidence proving otherwise I change my mind.

all this tell me is the Wii U will be way behind again in the next generation sadly. this is the same feeling had with the 3ds.

Now that you mention it, R7xx has been out awhile, I wouldn't be surprised if AMD has optimized the Nintendo part to the point to the R8xx series or beyond with eyefninity type support. Remeber that we are not dealing with DirectX with Nintendo consoles. An optimized 7xx series would be as good as an 8xx series and draw much less power for high performance (after custimization of course.) I think the main bottleneck that the Wii U would have to face is still the same ol' RAM personally.

All of what you just said is a matter of opinion...For example IMO, Wii while easily behind on graphics when compared to the 360 and PS3 it was ahead of its time with Motion control. Now with Move and Kinect...Wii is old tech and I agree its behind but even back in Summer 2010 I wouldn't have said that the Wii was behind.

Same thing with Wii U...by the time Sony and Microsoft enter next Gen depending on what they do the Wii U may not end up behind at all.

Lastly, what do you mean the same feeling with the 3DS? The 3DS certainly isn't old tech & Vita hasn't shown me anything that makes it overshadow the 3DS in terms of tech. IMO, both the 3DS & Vita are very "New" and advanced and both are AMAZING for a Handheld. On one side, Vita shocks me with the type of graphics it is able to produce for a handheld system. On the other side, 3DS blows me away with its 3D and IMO when the 3DS has the 3D turned all the way up it has just as good graphics as Vita if not better!

All this info about how powerful the Wii U could be gets me excited. The more powerful it is the better, for we all know that, in consecuence, the PS4 will be even more of a beast.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I got more info about the CPU powered by IBM.

"Nintendo's new console, the Wii U, was finally unveiled to the world today at E3 2011, and we got a glimpse of its graphical prowess at the company's keynote. Details were scarce about the IBM silicon Nintendo's new HD powerhouse was packing, but we did some digging to get a little more info. IBM tells us that within the Wii U there's a 45nm custom chip with "a lot" of embedded DRAM (shown above). It's a silicon on insulator design and packs the same processor technology found in Watson, the supercomputer that bested a couple of meatbags on Jeopardy awhile back."

So the CPU is Watson based with a lot of eDRAM in 45nm SOI.

Right. Should be a Power7 then, but that info was released about a week ago
