I was looking through the points earned by the highest ranking users and I really don't understand how there are thousands games with no banners that these individuals were able to fullfill.
Are they simply replacing banners of games or is a banner/synopsis/etc only approved by the game DBA where one didn't exist and I clearly haven't spent enough time in the gamerReview section to see all the blatant holes.

Since I am one of the lower ranking ones people in question, a lot of games were without banners. A list of franchises, basically anything before 2008-2007, if it wasn't as popular, it would not have a banner.

However, its not like thousands of games have been added to the database this month. Maybe a couple hundred at most ......
I could be wrong but it just seems fishy.
yea, i see no point in even trying. The DB admins just have too many point. I dont know how they have so much free time.

See I am like you (In that statement) and only one DB admin has way to many points, but I think it is possible next month. I doubt the people that tried this hard this time, will be trying as hard.
I noticed early on, you will not win, if you don't do DB work.
Doing banners is very very easy.
There are about 40k games in the database and I count around 20k banners submitted (before the influx of badge/prize earners.)
But yes they're being monitored, no gamedb admin is stupid enough to risk being permabanned over it.

Yea, I even attempted by adding in links for critic scores, but I gave up lol. I have a real job full time and I know many others do not so I figured it was just a time thing. I will just stick to posting on the forums for now.
my estimate is that wthin a month of 5 most work should be done and the database complete
but yes i fail 2 see the use of those banners
