Can't wait for the release of the greatest game in 3D? Is the thought consuming your life in an unhealthy manner? Try these 5 suggestions to make the time pass:
1. Play another non-Ocarina of Time Zelda: What's a better way to wait for Zelda than playing a Zelda? Ocarina of Time may be considered the best, but there are other excellent games in the series to play. Even in a second, third, or twentieth run-through, the game should still take you a week to finish. Link's Awakening just released on the 3DS Virtual Console, too.
2. Prepare for Father's Day: In case you didn't know, the release of Ocarina of Time is the same day as Father's Day in the US. Spend some time with the man that gave such wisdom throughout your life. Figure out what he likes and plan a gift to give him. Maybe you can introduce him to your favorite series and find yourself picking up 2 copies come Sunday.
3. Pick up an instrument: Throughout the 25 years, Link has played the flute, the ocarina, the wind waker, the recorder, amongst others. Pick one up and become just like Link through teaching yourself your favorite Zelda tunes on whatever instrument you choose. Maybe you can even attempt the Song of Double Time and see what happens.
4. Study about a new culture: Hyrule is home to many different variations of creatues, each with a unique and rich history. This is the same way in the real world. Research a culture that you are unfamiliar with and learn every aspect about them that you can, whether it be the Jews, the Chinese, the Brazilians, or the Japanese. Try to even recreate their food and see how your version holds up.
5. Explore a new place: Does Link sit around and wait for adventure to come to him? NO! He goes off and explores various new lands and lets the adventure take him where he needs to go. Take up a camping trip to somewhere new or take find an area in your neighborhood you've never been to and see what they have.
