Which one do prefer? This is like one of the most popular topics on this site but I haven't seen really anyone ask the question so straight up.

Most people who only have one will say the console that they have. Luckily I have both. This is how I evaluate what conosle is better I like better.

Exclusives:

PS3: Uncharted series, Killzone series, GT series, God of War series, LPB series

Xbox 360: Halo series, Gears of War series, Left 4 dead series (I don't like Forza or Mass Effect) 

They both have some darn good exclusives but Uncharted ,GT, and God of War took me over I loved every single game in the series. While Halo, Gears, Killzone and L4D are great game series they can't comapre to the top 3 that I've mentioned.

So the PS3 is the winner in this case for me.

 Now I will list my favourite multiplat games and tell you which system prefer to play it on.

Grand Theft Auto- PS3

AC-PS3

Call of Duty- Xbox 360/PS3=Tie

Battlefield-360

Fifa-360

Madden-360

Need for Speed-360

Although I like games series such as Grand Theft Auto (my favourite game series) better on PS3 I play a lot of shooters and sport games on the 360 So in this case the 360 wins.

Controller

Now this is one thing I really haven't decided on. Or could never decide on. The PS3 controller feels more comfertable and is much easier to get used to as oppsed to the 360 controller. But if I am going to be playing games for long hours I tend to play the 360 more often because with the PS3 controller my hands get a bit two sweaty. And as for the design I like both controllers but I would have to say games like Grand Theft Auto (TPS, and racing) feel  better on PS3 and most sport games and some FPS games feel better on the 360. So I give this round a tie

i say PS3. i need  reasons to own a console and Sonys list of exclusive games has me booked solid.

as for the 360. i've hated every Halo except Reach. and im not a fan of there exclusives except GEARS, but as it turns out im looking to pick a 360 up soon.

although i don't own a 360 i do play the console very often.

both controlers feel fine to me.

This thread is dumb, I officially reset the score to 0-0, just because I said so.

Back in 2008, I'd squish my inner fanboy, and tell you "360" (I was quite the fanboy back then, but 360 always hit my soft spots with its then exclusives, I so wish it was getting exclusive JRPG like it did then).
2nd half of 2009 and on, PS3, easy.

I bought the systems because of/for

- Flower, The Last Guardian, Yakuza, Valkyria Chronicles
- Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect (I thought ME would stay console exclusive when I bought my 360)


After my system purchases the following games were anounced, which could be added to the list above as well (i.e. exclusives which make me buy a system)

- Journey, Ico & Shadow of the Colossus, Ninokuni
- The Witcher 2, Dust: An Elysian Tail


As you can see:
Most 1st party developed games didn't interest me enough to get either system (only exception: Team Ico). No Killzone, LBP, Resistance, Gran Turismo, God of War, Uncharted, Forza, Fable, Gears of War or Halo made me buy the systems. Nintendo is by far my preferred 1st party developer. It's mostly 2nd and 3rd party exclusives which made me buy a PS3 and a 360.

PS3 "wins" in my book, but I'm very glad that The Witcher 2 will come to 360 as my notebook would only run it on very low settings (actually I'm not sure if it would even meet the minimum requirements for Witcher 2, I haven't checked). Finally another "big" 360 exlusive I really want.

I would say the PS3 for it's Blu Ray and free online. Also for Sony first party games. The 360 is good, and I would have gotten one over a Wii, but I was afraid of the RROD, so the hardware as well.

@Dahuman I'm just expressing my point of view how is that dumb. If I was putting down a console that would be like fanboish and dumb but what's wrong in asking a commuinty of great knoledge with games "which conolse do you prefer"

Xbox 360. I have my friends exclusively there. Some of my friends are multiplat, but they are just better on the 360.
