I don't know about elsewhere in the world, but here in the U.K the Wii has in the last few weeks seen a level of marketing unheard of outside the run up to Christmas. This would have a positive effect on sales coupled with the price cut

Sorry to disapoint you but i'm not. I couldn't care less how much Wii sells. But going from selling nothing to topping PS3.....something besides $50 is in play.

It's the Wii U announcment: people noticed Wii shall stop being produced, so they are buying thm as quickly as possible so in 30 years, they can sell each for $3000.

Above: still the best game of the year.

We are lucky to even see a Wii commercial here in the U.S
But damn there is like an Apple IPhone commercial 5 times a day! Makes you question why Nintendo isn't advertising this here.
