Sorry if i confused you and others, playing it on german and just called it sidequests to keep it simple and my brain turned off., i mean Villager Requests, which leads me to the brain thing; im done with 133, 17 left. but the one i am doing right now requires farming Efreet.. this guy spawns pretty rarely, and the item i need from him has like a -0,5% chance to drop, so yeah, wasted 3 hours on grinding him already.. as ive heard, some people at gamefaqs have invested fucking 30 hours into getting that... xD



I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

I'm really behind on my JRPG's. So far this gen, Lost Odyssey takes the cake. Recently ordered Record of Agarest War, but I want to beat FFXIII and Infinite Undiscovery before I beat that.

Yes I have like 6 JRPG's to beat, and then Dragon Age and Fallout NV (waiting on GOTY edition), By the time this is done, Dark Souls and Mass Effect 3 will be out.

WKC2 will have to wait a while. If it follows typical JRPG patterns, it will be $20 this time next year anyway..


Infinite Undiscovery is pretty good if ya ask me., i liked the style of that Game. // Lost Odyssey was a pain.. because the European VA's were soooo baaad.. i mean, the german really did sound like they have better to do than to voiceact - like, sleeping, or something. it really killed the experience. But other than that, i liked it a lot. =) / Record of Agarest War is my fav Strategy Game this gen.

My favourites are Nier (For its Story), Star Ocean TLH (because it was just a great journey imo), and Demons Souls. (I wonder if WKC2 will fit in my favolist, if the Online mode is good enough, it will.)

PS; I LOVED Last Rebellion. it sucked sooo hard that the Game took only 12 Hours. (including Sidebosses for Platinum..) .. dunno why, it was technical crap, and the Story wasnt great, either.. but it sucked me right into it for a nice ammount of time. =D (maybe cuz its so oldschool.. ^^)

Yea, with school I haven't allowed myself to get into any JRPG's during the term (which is 9 months long). So I've naturally fallen behind on JRPG's. Nier is a game I'll probably get down the road, give me a reason to delay going 8th gen (1sts gen non-Nintendo systems always break on me, so I need to force myself to wait).

I could make a list on RPG's I need to get into. I may as well, in the order I plan to beat them

  1. Pokemon Black/White
  2. Tales of Vesperia
  3. Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
  4. Final Fantasy XIII
  5. Mass Effect 3
  6. The Last Story
  7. Fallous: NV GOTY Ed (I'm waiting on it)
  8. Infinite Undisovery
  9. Record of Agarest War
  10. XenoBlade
  11. Dragon Age: Origins
  12. Star Ocean 4
  13. Valkeria Chronicles
  14. Last Rebellion
  15. White Knight Chronicles
  16. Demon's Souls
  17. The Last Remnant
  18. Dark Souls
  19. Blue Dragon
  20. Nier

and to be honest, I haven't put any thought into my handheld RPG's, Have a DS and PSP, and the 2 I only included the 2 I want to beat this summer. I have so many FF and Dragon Quest titles to last me the life of the 3DS. lol

My goal is to beat the first 4 on the list this summer, maybe the next 2 as well, but I damn well am not rushing any of them.

Any other suggestions? Only RPG's I played to completion so far are Fallout 3, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect 1,2, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, and Too Human, but many of the games in the above list I started, or got decently far in.

I know WKC2 includes a remastered WKC1, any idea if the remastered version of WKC1 includes the quests from the first game even if you just play them offline, or is it strictly story?

WKC1+2 are kinda merged into 1 Game, and if you mean those Online Missions you can also do Offline, then yes, they are there, in both of the games. (Aswell as Villager Requests and Bountyhunter Missions.. <- i think they are new? you have to hunt down single enemy's for that, sadly those cant be played multiple times or Online.. they are an awesome GR Grind. xD)

Yeah, those missions are still available, even  if you select to play WKC2. How many new there are .. cant tell you, didnt unlock most of them. (GR15, in fact i need +1 to be able to do the very first Quests introduced with WKC2. my suggestion is at least 4-6 Quests for every GR, but i am not sure.)

 

There are L80 / GR30 freaks already.. insane. seriously. xD

I have been playing Shirokishi Monogatari: Hikari to Yami no Kakusei(White Knight Chronicles 2) since it released in July 2010 and the first one I started in December 2008, The second is vast improvement on the first and I love the online play the the Avatar controlled Knights, it is sad that there will most likely be no more of WKC games but I can't wait to get NI NO KUNI later this year^_^

That's good to hear, I hope WKC2 is more solo friendly for the people who like doing the quests offline aswell. I'm GR9 on WKC and was trying to get more prepared for WKC2 like attempt to increase my GR more and reach my 4 rebirths so I tried to solo memorial servant GR7 and fought the wind dragon, it didn't go well. Which sucks cause I need drops from him.
