Oh come on. It's not like you're evil or anything. Try not to be too authoritarian, and try not to support the regulation of people's personal lives.

There is no way to qualify someone's statements as to making them good or bad. The question is: Do you want to prevent people from engaging in personal activities because *you* think it is wrong? If so, that could (in my mind) make you bad if you are attempting to restrict personal activities of someone because you think they are bad. Many of the worst leaders of the world from Castro, to Mao to Lenin to Pol Pot felt that way. However, if you believe that personal activities should be restricted for yourself, then that is fine.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum, as I scored 100% in everything. My opinion is that everyone should be free to pursue activities they desire to partake in - provided it does not infringe on another person's right (lets say drinking and driving which usually ends up in loss of life or property of another person). However, in my own life, I am very restrictive on the activities I partake in.

Just remember that restricting activities of others rarely has been viewed as positive in the history of civilization. The more freedoms that are restricted, the less a culture grows and develops. This has been true for millennia.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I consider myself as conservative but the result was:
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 90%

Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 60%

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...

Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

wtf O__o

Personal: 30%
Economic: 70%

Conservatives tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional values." They oppose excessive government control of business, while endorsing government action to defend morality and the traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

Seems that I'm one of few.

The chart is designed to funnel away conservatives to libertarianism. It asks only questions that would pull conservatives into the libertarian side of things. Rather than deal with the pillars of libertarianism, they merely focused on the ones that conservatives would likely give libertarian answers on (like military service vs. asking about military intervention).

Yes!!! (Not joking)

He is Franklin Delano Rosevelt, the American president that led the states through the depression and most of World War 2.

FDR was in a very similar place on the test. Anything in the upper-left quadrant is essentially communist or an authoritarian-socialist like FDR. I should note, though that FDR was slightly further to the left on economics, and about two grids more authoritarian.

God help me! I didn't know my brain was leaning towards communism!

Centrist prefer a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems

It got me bang on. =p
