Sony Boss Talks Vita Sales Targets and Competition (Good read)

http://andriasang.com/comy7r/

Asked about year-end sales targets for Japan, Kawano would only say that he expects the first 500,000 to sell out quickly. Sony is including a 100 hour pre-paid 3G usage fee with the first 500,000 3G units.

Hmm...I wonder if they will sellout that fast...it would be awesome though.

Just saw the video (of the PSvita colours) didn't realise how seriously sexy that handheld looks, by far the best looking peice of portable technology ever. Pretty hyped now!!!

I don't think there was really any REAL confirmation as to the Vita being region free, but it was confirmed by Shuhei Yoshida via Twitter that it will not be region locked.

Nice, that works out at £150 if imported from the US. It's likely to be £235 here (so the rumours say) so that's quite the saving.

Bit of noob question but does this mean all games will be able to play on it? Like what if they say Uncharted is region locked or something? I don't want that happening ..

As far as I know, I believe it pretty much means that all games for the Vita will be playable on all systems, no matter the country you live in. Example is the PS3, as you can play any game from Europe or Japan on a system you purchased in the US.

I really like Uncharted's cover art. That Mid air jump shot is really nice.

And btw, can the TC add this vid to the original post? This is a clearer and HD version trailer of Ragnarok Odyssey.

Yep, pretty much. The only problem is getting PSN cards from Europe or Japan, although aren't there sites online that can send you a code when you purchase the PSN card?
