Well, you win some - KanColle Kai is finally releasing this time:

And you lose some - MonoKuma is heading to pastures new with DanganRonpa:

I can't help feel bad for NISA in all this. They've lost some serious franchises over the years - Atelier/Neptunia both upped and left completely; then things like Koei-Tecmo releasing all of their Atelier games with NISA's translations. Mugen Souls has gone to PC, but not from NISA - from Ghostlight instead. And now DanganRonpa is taking off too. And Stranger of Sword City is getting poached for PC by the original developer too!
edit: Also, We are Doomed has been rated by PEGI for Vita:

This week in musings from the UK chart, rise of the games that Sony doesn't really make anymore for Vita:
14 | 4 | LITTLEBIGPLANET MARVEL SUPERHERO EDITION | TARSIER/DOUBLE ELEVEN | SONY COMPUTER ENT. | SONY COMPUTER ENT.
12 | 5 | UNCHARTED: GOLDEN ABYSS | SCEA BEND | SONY COMPUTER ENT. | SONY COMPUTER ENT.
8 | 6 | KILLZONE: MERCENARY | GUERRILLA CAMBRIDGE | SONY COMPUTER ENT. | SONY COMPUTER ENT. |
Also this still seems to be doing fine:
11 | 8 | DISNEY INFINITY 2.0 | AVALANCHE SOFTWARE | DISNEY INFINITY | DISNEY INTERACTIVE STUDIOS |
And some new entries - was Looney Tunes discounted anywhere?
- | 11 | THE RATCHET & CLANK TRILOGY | MASS MEDIA | SONY COMPUTER ENT. | SONY COMPUTER ENT. |
- | 15 | LOONEY TUNES: GALACTIC SPORTS | VIRTUAL TOYS | SONY COMPUTER ENT. | SONY COMPUTER ENT. |
- | 17 | ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 3 | OMEGA FORCE | BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT | BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT |

At least their relationship is good enough with some of those publishers to still handle some physical versions like Escha and Lody Plus.
While it does stink for NISA to see great efforts of theirs go to waste in DanganRonpa and Atelier, it does force them to switch gears and pick up something like Grand Kingdom.

Oh absolutely, I mean for us as consumers this is the best possible outcome. We're still getting Ateliers and Neptunias (faster than ever on the Neptunias actually) while NISA has to reach out into other things that we'd have never gotten previously - heck, I think DanganRonpa is an example of that (but Demon Gaze & Grand Kingdom are the other two I'd point to, absolutely).
The only thing we really lost out on was physical versions of the Ateliers, but they've even managed to fix that through their agreement with Koei Tecmo, absolutely.
I just can't but help feel sorry for them. I feel like a lot of the niche gaming we have today is largely down to them - Compile Heart/Gust wouldn't even have a name in the west if it wasn't for them, and there certainly wouldn't be an Idea Factory International.
Sadly N1 can't seem to produce another hit franchise for them to bring across either - Disgaea is great and all, but nothing else has really taken off (Witch & Hundred Knight might be it, finally, but I doubt it judging by the first game).

Don't come here with the Doom And Gloom, please! xD

Another Limited Run Games interview, they hint at 2 more Vita titles coming in the future (1 with a big file size): http://yourpsvita.com/interview-limited-run-games/ Could you make any new contract which especially Vita owners can be excited about? We talked to a lot of developers with Vita games – we’re specifically trying to lock down games that are on both PS4 and Vita so we can release the two platforms simultaneously. I wish I could name the specific game but we’ve got two games possibly coming out for Vita that were highly requested. One of them has a huge file size on Vita, so I expect our fans will be super happy to hear about our plans.
A few things out this week (Atelier; Baseball Riot; A Boy and his Blob; Red Game without a Great Name) http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/01/17/the-drop-new-playstation-games-for-1192016/
Also, this VN may be getting a physical western release:

I would love to see these niche titles get physical releases. Would definitely pick them up.

I don't get the hate. Hopefully it means those stubborn no gaemz gits might try and love it meaning more danganronpa in the future. From past experience, these games really do work better on a Vita. So that part is their loss.
I don't get why people are so protective of "exclusives" though. Serve no purpose other than bragging rights.

Some Atelier Shallie Plus gameplay and screenshots.
Is it just me, or in the Logy video did it look like it was running about 20fps during the conversation scenes and then 30fps during the battles? Lol. Was really jerky in the conversations.
We've officially hit 3,000 followers! Oddworld: New N' Tasty is coming to physical media. Await further details from @OddworldInc!
