Sales increased from Ayesha Plus -> Escha & Logy Plus in Japan, so I hope it's enough to see them through to Shallie.  Though it's probably going to be the lowest selling one yet, seeing how the PS3 version did in Japan :(

Hopefully Sophie picks things up, specially considering simultaneous release on all 3 platforms.

If all goes well we should get Yoru and Sophie in May-June or thereabouts, 2016, in the west.

I doubt they'd skip it. Would be so wrong to give 1 whole trilogy and then 2 out of a next trilogy and stop at that. I think it's a side project though. Kinda like how the ps3 games were still being released while doing the Vita Plus versions

Yeah, it wouldn't make sense for them to skip the final entry in a trilogy, I hope you're right about this anyway.

Did Shallie do bad in NA/EU as well? I wasn't aware it did bad :(. That's sad, maybe it was a bad timing to release

Any game released on PS3 only after PS4 is out has bad timing

Looks like they were happy about the sales from the last Taiko PS Vita game.

What I seem to remember TKE's community manager saying was that the physical release did poorly for them, but the Limited Edition they did in NISA's store did very well for them.

Which is what makes me wonder if for future releases going forward, we'll only see PS4 physical but possibly LE's for PS3/Vita.

Yeah, I have no doubt we'll see Sophie less than 12 months after the Japanese release.

I'm 90% certain we'll get Yoru no Nai Kuni as well, I just don't know how much they'll prioritize it.

That means an Escha & Logy Plus release some time between November & February imo.

I think Rorona had a point. I think it did bad partially bacause last gen is dying. But I wouldn't mind a limited release like Ar nosurge plus. I'd likely pick the Vita version over ps4 as long as it isn't a horrible version, which I doubt

Yeah, I'd much rather have an Atelier game on Vita than PS4.

Though about the quality, I don't think the Atelier ports on Vita have been great really.  They've all got some rather noticeable performance problems.

Which is why I'm still undecided where I'd buy Yoru no Nai Kuni if it came west.  On Vita is always where I prefer to play, but if it's an action-RPG, I think I'd rather have a more stable framerate on PS4.

Yup, that's true. I never noticed the performance issues much in totori but after that, I saw how the games ran on ps3 and I realized after that. But as RPGs it isn't much of an issue but definitely Yoru at the moment is going to be a ps4 buy because it's an action rpg just like you're saying.

Issue might be because they're directly ported though. Might run better now that sophie is being made on Vita same time as the others.

I hope so!
