Silent Hill Book of Memories Soundtrack

 

Between this and what I've heard from the Downpour soundtrack, it seems Daniel Licht is a good fit for Silent Hill. (Though he's still no Yamaoka!) However, the lack of any new gameplay videos or hands-on previews or ANYTHING from Book of Memories doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the game itself.


I gave up hope the moment I saw the first gameplay video tbh

Yeah, what a curveball that was. When I first heard about Silent Hill for Vita, I was hoping for something as cool as Origins. Then when we heard WayForward was making it and it was going to have multiplayer, I was thinking about how cool something in their usual hand drawn style could be, maybe a 2D horror game like the original Clock Tower where you stalk your friends as Pyramid Head or something.

But this...? Ehhh.


exactly! I am firm believe that horro/survival  horror games will be absolutely glorious on the vita...that OLED, controls plus the fact that the system is in-your-face could result in some scary ass moments! heck people might even drop the system and will have to buy new ones hence more money to sony! when I first saw gameplay for this game I facepalmed irl. what a let down

if the guy behind wasn't making the awesomeness that is gravity daze would have loved him to make a new siren..would be sweeet

speaking of which....wonder if we will get a Dead Space 0_o that could be pretty neat as well I think

see that would be pretty awesome...bring the good games iOS has over to vita as well! (for a comparable price tho) I wanna give infinity blade a try too, heard it's good

what exactly is epic making for vita again? they were with sony on the reveal so I expected something from them...Gears of War Vita at E3?

That's good to hear..I'm really hoping we get a localized Ragnarok Odyssy or GodEater...the gameplay looks faster than MH which looks like will be more preferable to me


I'm still loving the game but  it is hard and it will take time for me to reall nail  the timing of  attack/ rolling/ nlocking as well as learning monster attack patterns. Someone on my near radar has Ragnarok odyssy  so they must have downloaded it off the japanese store.  If it comes over I will pick it up myself though.

I wonder if MS would be ok with a Gears Spin off for the vita...it won't harm the console versions and will help attract a new market and sony will have a very popular IP which will attract a lot of new users to vita...win-win.

I don't think so but then again I haven't fully explored all of what all the weapons can do yet.  I still long for a monster hunter made specifically for the Vita that includes features and combos other clone series have. Certainly I don't want the game dumbed down but more options can make for a more skillful game if implemeted well.

I'm  only 1/3rd through the mutant blobs game and I can already tell I'll be going back through each level to find the lil blob buddies and eat all the things. I realy like how responsive the vita is in the tilt levels. Mostly i enjoy how  unimpressed the blob looks and how I can make him roll his single eye  in derision at the petty  challenges that stand between him and food. ... <<  >> I have formed an emotional attachment to a blob, I may have problems.
