I'm beginning to worry that UI is going to be too busy on Vita.

I could see that actually. That said, Soul Sacrifice has quite a busy UI so maybe it'll be okay?

I have the impression that, after this school break, Vita software has entered the second half of its lifecycle. Average games from mid sized Japanese producers have started to look more beautiful and more sophisticated, like they scaled up a tier...
Unfortunately, we misses the good properties by big producers becoming outstanding (as happened for the PSP with Dissidia 012, MSG Peace Walker, ...) for the obvious reason that there aren't anymore big software houses working on this handheld, exspecially in the West.

Yeah, personally I wish we just had a couple more games that pushed the hardware. We're getting some very nice looking games out of Japan, though.
I think 2016 is going to be the twilight year for localizations in the west, sadly, and not the second half of its lifespan. We've still got a few that are definitely coming in my opinion - Tokyo Xanadu/Luminous Arc Infinity from XSEED; Stranger of Sword City from NISA; the two new Neptunia games/Makai Shin Trillion from IFI etc., and maybe we'll get a couple more surprises along the way too (crossing my fingers for Bamco being the main company with surprises).
But PS4 is only going to get more attractive as time goes on, especially if Japanese devs start switching over to it. Hope I'm wrong on all this though and we get a few more years worth, because Vita games are what I'm spending most of my money on these days.
Maybe indies will push the console until 2019 or so.
