Quick battle: Demon Gaze vs Conception II ?

Completely different types of games. Conception II is a turn based RPG where as Demon Gaze is a first person dungeon crawler. If you're ok with the type of game Demon Gaze is, then I recommend it.

That's a problem cause I've never played anything like Demon Gaze (closest thing would be old school PC RPGs I guess but even that should be pretty different)

Idea for poll: How many Nep games a year is too many? With the options: 1k, 1M and 1B. I'd vote for 1B.

any new ideas for a poll? Ideally nothing too gloomy lol

Maybe a simple favorite game of the month?

What game would you like to see localised the most?

Tales of innocence R, Digimon, Tokyo Xanadu, Sword art, etc.

Thats a poll sugestion. Not actually asking. :P

How about what crazy game will SCEE pick next for a physical release? Hahah

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Yeah, that was what I was going to suggest too.

No, its not i would pick the last option of all the above :P

BTW im now a proud owner of a ps4 :) but i will never forget about the vita unlike a certain game console company :P

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Sign up if you want to see God Eater 2 get localized!! https://www.change.org/petitions/shift-inc-bring-god-eater-2-to-north-america-2#share

"Do you enjoy otome games?"

Because of how many are out, and are coming out, on Vita.

This year has continued to surprise me with localizations.  I wasn't expecting Lost Dimension at all.  Hope we get some more before the year is out.

I still think there's a lot of potential for 2016 to be as good for localizations as 2014/2015 have been so far, too.

XSEED still haven't formally announced Corpse Party: Blood Drive - it's all but confirmed at this point though.  I suspect Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is only a matter of time too.  Then there's the new Ys game - it'll get localized for PS4 version, so I'd imagine them sticking out a Vita SKU too (they've been really good to the console so far).

Slightly less likelys?  Tokyo Xanadu is a maybe/maybe not kinda deal I think - XSEED clearly love Falcom games but I haven't seen any of them particularly championing this series.  Then again, it'll probably be less text-heavy than Sen no Kiseki so I suspect it's pretty likely.  Speaking of which, they've registered a domain for the latter so I wonder if that's just a matter of time too.

Then there's internal Marvelous stuff - given that they picked up Lord of Magna, maybe Luminous Arc Infinity will come too?  And there's IA/VT Colourful as well.

And as they have a long-standing relationship with Acquire, maybe Metropolis City Defenders has a chance too?  *shrug*

NISA have been my favourite supporters of Vita, but they're a bit less predictable at the moment.  I could definitely see them picking up Stranger of Sword City since they seem properly in with Experience Inc. at the moment - so maybe Operation Babel and Demon Gaze 2 are likely as well (though if sales start tapering off I guess they'll skip them.

I also suspect, although Baldr might hint otherwise, that NISA could pick up KanColle Kai.  Reason?  Because they seem very friendly with Kadokawa lately - picking up Rodea before it's even out in Japan; on top of Natural Doctrine/Demon Gaze 1.

Other than that I'm at a bit of a loss what they'll bring across though.  I'd gues Disgaea D2 Plus is an inevitability at this point and I'd like to see it come west - maybe we'll get a port of Witch & Hundred Knight or Guided Fate Paradox too.  Or maybe, just maybe, N1 will pick up the slack and develop some more internal games too (that aren't VN's or pedo blacksmith).

Idea Factory International will probably keep bringing across all the Neptunia games - at the very least I'd expect Tag Team Blanc & Neptune to come across, maybe not that SEGA Hard Girls Collab.  Moe Chronicle is getting localized in Asia so I'd imagine that'll come west in some form too.

And then there's Destroyer Trillion and Death Under the Labyrinth - I could see both of those making it across.

It remains to be seen whether IFI will start picking up external games too - I suspect they will since they're run by the former president of NISA, but they've had their hands so busy with internal stuff lately that who knows what'll hapen.  Maybe they'll try the Date A Live games next or some otome titles?

Atlus are an enigma to me - their parent company don't develop a whole lot for the console.  Picking up Lost Dimension was a shock to me, just like picking up Conception 2 was too.

I guess the whole thing with both of those titles is they have parallels to actual Atlus developed titles... but that still leaves me no closer to figuring out what they're going to handle next.

Aksys are similar.  Other than the fact that they pick up Arc System Works fighters, I basically have no idea what they're going to pick up next.

Baldr always seems to know more than he's letting on though, so maybe more otome games are coming.  Hakuouki?  Amnesia?  Diabolik Lovers?  I just hope someone picks up Higurashi when they cry this time around, be it Aksys or anyone else.

Namco Bandai have actually been really good to Vita these past few years - Tales, J-Stars, One Piece, Sword Art Online.  It's not confirmed yet but it basically is - Sword Art Online: Lost Song will be coming.  I also think God Eater 2: Rage Burst was rumoured a while back so maybe that too?

What I'd like most from them is Tales of Innocence R followed by Digimon Cyber Sleuth.  Both seem like pipe dreams at this point (Tales is too old; Digimon won't sell enough) but I reckon there'd be a decent sized fanbase for both if they took a gamble on it.

And although I know it'll never happen, all sorts has happened on Vita in the west that I'd have never bet money on (Sword Art Online localization; Tales of Hearts localization; Sorcery Saga localization; Demon Gaze localization; Lost Dimension localization; Dengeki Bunko localization etc.), maybe Ray Gigant will somehow make it across.

Tecmo Koei only pick up internal stuff, but there's still some Vita games left untouched - Atelier Escha & Logy Plus is only a matter of time (as is, I would imagine, the inevitable port of Atelier Shallie), and if the PS4 version of Samurai Warriors 4-2 makes it across, then the Vita version will too.

Ar No Surge Plus is a different kettle of fish - I don't know if it actually will because the Ar Tonelico series seems a bit dead in the west.  I actually own the game on PS3 but am holding out to see if the Vita version comes because I'd much rather play it on that.  I guess Ciel No Surge has no chance at this point, despite the Offline version just releasing.

Square Enix are localizing Dragon Quest Heroes for PS4, so I guess there's a chance they could bring across Dragon Quest Heroes 2 for Vita.  But they dropped the PS3 version of the first game, so you never know.

I also think Final Fantasy XII HD is just a matter of time, and if it comes on Vita - it'll come across on Vita.

Since they released Deadman's Cross, maybe there's a chance that Rise of Mana and Final Fantasy Agito Plus come over here too since they'll be localizing the phone versions - sadly I think SaGa 2015 is a lost cause.

Saddest part of all this is I can't think of any of these companies who would possibly be interested in picking up Ukiyo no Roushi.  I'll just import next year if we haven't heard anything, but I'd really love to play it in English.
