Sony has long abandoned first party games on vita, even cancelled a few games if rumors are true.I doubt we'll even see vita games from Sony Japan.

They just announced a new first party exclusive today ;p

That's why we're saying sure the resources could have been better used in the past 12 months.

SCEE has put out:

PlayStation Vita Pets
Invizimals: The Alliance
Invizimals: The Resistance
Muppets: Movie Adventures
Along with a fair few digital titles like Frozen Synapse Prime

They also put out Freedom Wars, Soul Sacrifice Delta, Minecraft etc on it, but I'm not sure it was their resources that went into it.

Now they're upping the ante with Looney Tunes: Galactic Sports. (then Disney Infinite 2.0, Resident Evil: Revelations 2) whoooop!

The question is... why? I personally would have been much happier with them putting stuff like Jak 4, a new Syphon Filter, Motorstorm game etc.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I guess we'll see. Last game released in JP was a year ago and last game announced was at Tokyo Game Show 2013 ? I think (GR 2 with no mention of platforms.)

I'm happy as long as I get my Falcom games, but i wouldn't mind more games from Sony Japan/3rd party collaborations.

Oreshika 2 was July 2014.

Freedom Wars was June 2014, but that was last internally developed JP game I believe.

I just noticed that after Goddess black heart there's another Nep censored cover in the west.. The U in Neptunia U is covering Purple heart's boobs.

*sad panda*

Half her boobs is showing and I'm quite sure it has nothing to do with censoring but ideal placement. I assume you're making a joke tho but just in case.

Sounds like bullshit. :p everyone knows Vitas haz no exkluzivs! Like Baboon! I think you're just imagining this game.

I couldn't figure out from the trailer what type of game it actually was. Is it a puzzle platformer? Or more of a straight up puzzle game?

Puzzle game. That's it.

Sony cancelled, if rumors are true, an Infamous game, a second Uncharted Vita game (actually this one was approved by Naughty Dog), and a new IP from Sony Bend.

Actually, there are lots of rumors that Gravity Rush 2 has been cancelled for Vita and moved its development to the PS4. I think Freedom Wars was the last Vita AAA game from Sony.

If Gravity Rush 2 doesn't come to Vita I'm going to be pissed. And not just because it would mean Sony giving a big fuck you to Vita owners but because I like the franchise and would like to support it. And them making it PS4 exclusive even though they obviously began working on the game as a Vita game makes me not want to buy it at all. If it comes down to that I'll wait to buy it used or something.

I got used to the library and I've stuck around even with Sony's abysmal support. I mostly play Indie and small games on it that I wouldn't have considered if they hadn't been released as a handheld game. I used to play them on PS3 and PC, but it's different on the Vita. I don't care about exclusivity and it's hard to explain, but playing these games on the Vita sorta reminds me of the GBA. This kind of support is great even if it's minimal. I'm worried about the future however, because even now some crossbuy games are still TBA after releasing on PS4.

.- -... -.-. -..

Looks like Breach & Clear is coming to Vita:

man the Dissidia Arcade looks legit..50+ characters too. I am honestly not sure if this one will even run on the vita properly

PS4 version pretty much confirmed too now

Sony are still supporting the vita and here's the proof:

The game is exclusive and looks neat, maybe it would appeal to the younger generation, I don't get Sony's moves recently but maybe the movies / lego / Invizimals games sold well. So now Sony is targeting a new audience.

This game just makes me want a loony toons action platformer or a 2d plaformer. I remember playing games like bugs bunny and taz back in the day, and Asterix on gamegear.
