It's been awhile since I posted in this thread lol. I have to read 1000 posts dangit!! This thread flies so fast with so many posts.

I like the T.U.M game it looks interesting. I wish I could see more gameplay next week.

One thing though. I hope Sony can fix the pricing issue of some of the games (minis). If they really want Vita to took IMHO. They should match the pricing in the itunes store. I mean, Plant Vs Zombie is one perfect example.

BTW guys have you ever heard of Invizmals??

Won't this game be a perfect game for the Vita?? Imagine the possibilities.

Also, ever since God eater 2 was announced we haven't heard from it in a long while. Perhaps Namco Bandai is thinking in releasing it on a Vita aswell. Without MH this could take off in Japan.

Here's a better quality.

How easy is it to port PS3 games to Vita?
http://www.videogamer.com/features/article/how_easy_is_it_to_port_ps3_games_to_vita.html

interesting read.

Osamu Sugiyama - director of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend (Arc System Works)

"How did you find the experience of porting to Vita? Was it easier or harder than what you expected?

The PS Vita has very high specs and we were surprised at how much PS3 data we could easily reuse on the PS Vita. The PS Vita has numerous features and we feel that this console has broadened the spectrum of games that we can develop."

Has your experience with the Vita encouraged you with regards to working with the machine again?

Yes. Since BBEX was mostly a straight port, there are many Vita functions that we haven't yet used that we'd like to explore - for example, Near and AR. We are interested in developing new games using these functions.

Yosuke Hayashi, director of Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Team Ninja)

How did you find the experience of porting to Vita? Was it easier or harder than what you expected?

The Vita has very high performance for a handheld, so the porting was much simpler than we thought. The time we saved on the actual porting gave us more room to focus on the actual development work for adding brand new features exclusive to Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus.

What are the Vita's main strengths as a platform?

It has to be the beautiful OLED screen, and the power of the CPU. One more thing is the rear touch pad. This feature is not available anywhere else, so it gives developers many unique opportunities to explore many new ideas with this feature.

Has your experience with the Vita encouraged you with regards to working with the machine again?

Since Team NINJA is very particular about graphics and visual aesthetics in its games, Vita is a great piece of hardware, so we would like to explore it more. The rear touch pad has a lot of possibilities to make games that much more fun, so we are looking forward to exploring that.

One more thing we would like to do is explore the network functionality more. We haven't done this in Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, but we would love to see what we can do with multiplayer.

Just click the link to read the whole thing it's kinda long but very interesting.

Good to hear, hopefully they don't get too port-happy though resulting in pure watered down console versions. I remember Invizimals too, never really was that interested myself but I remember it doing quite well in Europe - would love to see a Vita version.

Why is Gravity Daze selling so poorly in Japan? It makes me sad that the Japanese aren't as interested in it as something like Monster Hunter... Hopefully it's gaining a lot more ground on the digital front.

I remember the rummaging in this thread that the downloads for the game might actually be pretty good.  If the game can get overall 300k in japan total with digital sales, I'd say the game's a success there (Let's be realistic here, nothing sell's over a million there anymore if it isn't Mario, Pokemon, Dragon Quest or Monster Hunter).

With the digital sales the game could be arround 100k rigth now... and the install base for PSV in japan is barely above 600k.. That's 1/6 PSVita owners in Japan own this game... when thee install base grown with superhits like Final Fantasy or Monster Hunter Gravity Daze will sell more... It's a refference of the system already...
