I think i'm going to get Child of Light for Vita. Anyone here has it?

Depending on what you want from it and options, would I recommend on Vita.
- First and formost this game is amazing no matter how you put it
- Now if you have the option of another Platform, I can specifically say PS4 since I actually bought both PSV and PS4 versions. Buy that version over it. The touch controls are flawed. When touching for some reason the damn fairy always lights up while on PS4 the Fairy doesn't light up unless you want it to saving you energy. Of course that can be remedied by using the right stick but that defeats the purpose.
- Another reason I say this is quite simple, the Vita version of the game is actually the unpatched first version put on PS3 and PS4 so any glitch they removed in a later patch  on consoles doesn't apply on this version. Some I've ran into which were annoying but not game breaking
- Furthermore, oddly enough the games toaned down slightly graphically which isn't a big deal, but the performance and framerate isn't quite what you know is do-able.
- Overall, it's not a secret that it's a rushed port over seeing how fast they brought it. But the games great. I say unless you really would prefer on the go or don't own PS3, PS4 or the Xbox's etc. Go with about any other version since they're patched and perform better.
Note: it's not a bad performance downgrade, probably not that noticeable for the most part for anyone with just that version.

Either way one of the greatest gems I've played in a while, though I never got around to finishing any version yet lol. I personally play the Vita version slightly more since I like portable gaming more than console gaming for the most part lol.
That being said I'm getting Akiba's Trip on PS4, it has no Japanese games yet in NA pretty much so I wanna show support for it immediately so they bring games faster :). Vita has already established it's ability to generate good Localization sales, time for the PS4 as well :)

Wow, thanks for the analysis. I might just get it on PS4 now but I put more hours into RPGs on my Vita so I might not play it as much on consoles...

Well then you're like me lol. I always put more hours into handheld RPG's especially Vita. I'd say just go with the Vita version then, since you don't have the experience on the PS4 version prior like I did, you shouldn't be bothered by most. I've put more time into the Vita version because I like enjoy RPG's more on Vita then consoles mostly. So if I could, you should have no problem at all. No one else in the thread had issues lol. Just make sure you play it no matter which version :)

So I've never played any of the Atelier games, but Atelier Rorona Plus Looks interesting for the Vita. Is it a digital purchase only or was there a retail release? I can only find the PS3 version in stores, amazon etc.

Also.... what are the games about... can't seem to find a solid description online.
