Well you say that, but a lot of people don't like using credit cards, and PSN has no presence at retail so people don't even know most of the games available digitally even exist. There must clearly be a market for digital games being purchased at retail and just putting the code in. Whether it's because it lets people without cards buy them, parents scared of their payment details being used online etc or just because they seem to shift pretty well, otherwise they wouldn't be extending the range (they already sell 360/PS3/Wii U games as download vouchers).

True, Gamespot reported huge earnings from selling download codes. They said that people are much more willing to get upsold on season passes and similar than even they predicted.

I would be a lot more into DoS if it was not online only. The Vita is a PORTABLE handheld for pete's sake. The game should be A-synchronise not always connected.  Why can't the game just register the imediate area you are in when you have a connection, then save that  until you switch zones again?

I'm contemplating a 64gb card, but do we think given the digital only direction the system is taking, a 128gb card could be on the horizon? I mean I got my 32gb card for like £60... then  a week later the 64gb card was announced >_<

Agreed. It would be easier to play on the road too if that was possible. These days I just log in to see what I get each day and that's about it, don't play much.

It's possible for sure, but...I doubt it. Best go for the 64 if you want it!
