Damn Soul Sacrifice Delta is being received well critically. Did not see that coming. Current meta 81 and all 9 reviews are positive.

By contrast, Borderlands is at 65 meta. Just because of their comparisons with the console versions of the game. They expect the game to be like in PS3 it seems...

I'm done worry about that. It merely confirms that the majority of the professional journalism in gaming has no clue what it is talking about.
Handheld gaming has always been about striving for home console software on the go. The Vita is the first time since the original Gameboy and Gamegear that we've been anywhere near, and all of a sudden the games are taking a critical hammering for it while championing cut down F2P spinoffs on iOS. Barmy.

That's what I've been telling you. SSD is supposed to be an expansion, but it has so much new content that it really feels like a sequel, I mean it even continues the stoy of the previous game. I'm having a lot of fun with it.
If you liked SS, you're going to love SSD.

I really want SSD... but... I don't want to pay £24 for a download. (I would gladly have paid £30-40 for a card)
speaking of digital vs physical...

Is Child of Light getting a card release on Vita? Wouldn't that make it the only actual physical release of the game? Or are they putting a "pack of collectables" into a Vita case?

The latter.
So guys... Seeing like Tecmo-Koei have been supporting Vita wit a lot of musou games.. and that now Nintendo is promoting Vita more than SCEA have ever done ( http://www.gamrreview.com/news/91498/nintendo-accidentally-promote-the-playstation-vita/ ).. You think Zelda Musou will come to Vita? :)

Feels like they are puting the Vita down in favour of smartphones. These are already killing handhelds and reviewers don´t help either.

It's under £8 quid now. Really is a "how low can you go?" game right now. Also saw they have Rayman Origins back in stock for under a tenner. http://www.shopto.net/video-games/psvita/PSPVRA02-rayman-origins-ps-vita highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't have this already. One of Vita's finest and makes the OLED shine. |
Thanks for the heads up. I just bought it. Anything lower than £8 is a must for me. I even bought Virtua Tennis though I had no interest in the game. This is my first retail game since Tearaway came out. It's been only digital since then.

Just saw this posted on Gaf by Takao :
"Kaneko's (creator of Wild Arms) studio, Witchcraft, is working on a Vita game: http://d.hatena.ne.jp/WITCHCRAFT/20140523/1400823542
There's something about info in an upcoming Dengeki PlayStation issue. So it's probably not Wild Arms given how soon it is."
In case people don't know, akifumi kaneko is the producer and creator of wild arms. He left Media vision in 2008 and started a studio called witchcraft.
Hope, it's something good ^^
