It seems the general response to Demon Gaze in here is good.

I personally think it's better than Conception 2. Not saying C2 is bad though, quite the opposite. But if I could only choose one, I'd take DG.

I'm dying to start Demon Gays, but I'm soooo close to the platinum in Conception... damned missable events.

I feel that everything about Demon Gaze is better when compared to Conception 2, The combat, the dialogue, the UI, etc.

but playing the game is like being in an abusive relationship, the game is evil yet i love it

Can someone explain the combat in conception 2? It looks kinda confusing >.<

basically you're characters can attack from 4 points of an enemy, front, back, left,right and some of these sides are weakpoints. The enemy can move to attack behind you doing extra damage. It's a nice concept because you have to be tactical of where to hit an enemy, and not be exposed to other enemies (sort of like a puzzle. but not really)

edit: Other mechanics include combo chains for when you hit an enemy a certain amount, it stops them from moving. Basic elemental system. uhh not sure what else

edit 2: assists (triggered randomly). The star children can turn into mechs (not sure what that's about). ether gauge??
