When climbing in Uncharted the touch controls are very responsive, all it took was me tracing a path with a light touch of the finger and it registered it without issue. Naughty sites works fine on the web browser, so great news for all you pervs in here. It even works better than they do on my phone.

I really like the OS. At first I was a bit skeptical and has my issues, however they quickly went away as I had more time to mess with it. It really feels a bit like a smartphone.

One problem I do have however, and that is the prices. I wanted to see how Zenonia controls with the Vita, but it costs $6.99. This is absolutely ridiculous since Zenonia on smartphones is only $0.99 and all newly released Zenonia titles are free. Sony need to really reconsider their pricing model on their minis, not to mention their PSP titles. I fear for what happens with PS Suite and some of these Android titles. I really hope it we don't see a game release on both and be $5 on Vita and $.99 on Android, although I am confident that this will be the case. If so then I can see this really hurting the Vita. Sony need to get with the times.

All in all though, this is a fantastic little console and I still can't wait for Gravity Rush.

Angry birds is $4 on psn. O_o Isnt it free or like $1 on smartphones?

Does Vita gain more battery life if you play PSP games on it, you know like the 3DS gains like 3 hours if you play a DS game on it?

Not 100% positive but i do know that when doing something less taxing, such as playing music the battery life shoots up to 8-9+ hours. One could assume the battery life would jump when playing psp titles. It is also easy to assume that since the vita has better battery life to begin with, even if just slightly. Also take into account that psp games are almost in par with most 3ds games while ds games aren't even close, so no matter a comparison wouldn't be fair at all.

 

Also, the vita charges much much faster than 3ds, so it ends up being better and/or being a wash either way.

I am so glad that the vita browser is just about 100% compatible with vgchartz. Android browser, which i used 75% of the time, had sooooo many limitations. I really like the browser. All it needs is flash, html5 support and Swype.

I Looooooove Swype.

While the American numbers are still preliminary (the true launch is the following week), the attach rate for the 18th is fairly encouraging. Considering that the PSP's biggest problem was software sales, seeing a relatively high attach rate for the Vita for this week is fantastic news.

Just give it some time bro.. 

 

and, by all your Feedback Near is a NEAT App.. Have you give it some other uses more than just see who is online? Like Drop challenges, Invite multiplayer, making social, etc?

 

I think that With NEar the 100 Friends cap on vita will be short very SOON!
