Yes, 1 million + sales were not enough for a cheap handheld port.

Which they had the gall to sell for $40, if I remember correctly!

And which, being the sucker I am, I bought at full price! I would have paid that much for a port of Secret of Mana, too, but they were more interested in bringing that to iOS.

It will be interesting to see how companies like Square and Capcom fare with their heavy investment in mobile. The profit margins may be good, but in the absence of a Puzzle & Dragons type mega hit it doesn't seem like the revenue is enough to sustain companies of their size. And even then if they should manage to succeed, there's the time bubble Nintendo has always warned about once you've trained consumers to think that games are free and disposable entertainment. It all seems so horribly shortsighted.

Dear god. Guess I'll have to buy Monpiece in hopes of getting this localized.

Edit: Holy shit... those posters are too much even for me.

Yeah, it was a full price (40€) title here in europe too .

My wet handheld-fanboy fantasy is that the likes of Squeenix and Capcom will leave this western "cut throat / AAA or bust / all or nithing (nothing means mobile shovelware in this context" approach  behind and get back to DS and PSP era third party support....which obviously won´t happen...

And the bolded is so true...

...oh man, now I´m depressed....I guess we can always count on Compile Heart to deliver...something....

:/

It's heresy I say! and they also didn't include Pamela

Really?! She is like a mainstay in the Atelier series. Why would they do that? O_O

Mother. Fucker.

Well, there are a lack of those titles announced. Is it a problem? It would be fair to pick up that there wasn’t a second Call of Duty made specifically for Vita. But what’s changed is that Call of Duty: Ghosts was available on Vita via Remote Play on PS4.

That's not the first time he's said this, so I'm guessing he thinks it's a good talking point. What a dingbat.

Well its good to hear that Invizimals did well in EU despite the chart showing terrible numbers.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Well fuck. This mindset is what got the Vita to the point of near death and it's what still could kill it if it becomes too prevalent - don't get me wrong I'm actually quite happy with the situation as it is right now support-wise, but the total disinterest and apathy towards encouraging any high-profile support has been an issue that reared its ugly head pretty much straight after the launch, and if someone thinks this is a decent substitute for real games then it's only going to get worse
