I really shouldn't start a JRPG like disgaea right now, I should be writing my review, but nooooooo, this damn vita has me entrapped! I just can't stop playing it! I'm thinking about getting half minute hero, but at the same time I need to get these games one at a time!
Once it comes in the mail, it's gonna be Uncharted all the way through. I don't care what people think about it being inferior to the console versions, I don't mind the lack of action set pieces or the touch/motion controls. I care about a good singleplayer campaign, and all the reviews I have seen say that it's long, it's well done, and it's fun regardless of the lack of action set pieces.
I already love this more than my 3DS by a notable margin.on the 3DS, the only games I've truly enjoyed worth playing more than once was Mariokart and Mario 3D land. I didn't care for Zelda or Star Fox, Nano Assault was good but nothing I'll ever play again, Pilotwings was a huge disappointment and wasn't really all that fun, and that bowling game was a resounding meh. On the flipside, I thought Little Deviants was okay as a tech demo, I enjoyed ModNation Racers, I thought Super Stardust was pretty awesome, and Rayman was amazing. PSV scores are notably higher than 3DS scores.
Also, when I got a 3DS near launch (I think it had only been out a couple months), I was in the store with 1000 dollars in my pocket and a desire to get games...the only one I picked up was Pilotwings....because I was reviewing it...and I've regretted it ever since. Vita's launch, I didn't have enough money to get all the games I wanted, and there's more on the horizon that....man I ramble on a lot. I really should do a proper 'impressions' piece so people know what I think rather than just rambling on about how much more I like it than the 3DS. Not that I dislike the 3DS.
