Persona 3 portable is unanimously agreed to be a great game.  Perhaps not as good as 4: Golden, but still worth your time a dozen times over for its 10 dollar asking price. 

Ys is...kind of super awesome, if you want my opinion. Basically, it's an action RPG (you run around and hit things rather than turn based battles), and slowly unlock the map of the forest of celceta, restoring your lost memories and finding out how you managed to escape said forest.  As you unlock more of it, you gain new abilities that gets you access to new parts of the map, so there's lots of backtracking and exploration, much like a metroidvania styled adventure.  I'm usually super critical of japanese games and JRPGs in general for being cliche, predictable, and linear, but this is actualy a really, really nice mix.  I only halfway expected to like it, but so far have ended up loving it!  

Also, while I'm here discussing it, I must ask:  is Memories of Celceta a remake of something else in the series?  The wikipedia pages are more than a little inconsistent in that respect.  somehting about 'replacing' the mask of the sun, or something?

Actually Falcom call it a Reboot... YsIv had TWO games made by two external companies back in the days of SNES...

Actually Falcom call it a Reboot... YsIv had TWO games made by two external companies back in the days of SNES...
