MXGP out in March in the UK.

Dammit! I can't afford that as well as all the other stuff out in Q1!!! I was kind of hoping this would sink into the summer release schedule. Oh well. Another game I'm looking forward to (see just how much WRC4 improved on WRC3) this could well be what I was hoping MUD would be originally.

Did any of you guys play the PSP Need for Speed games? They're clearing stock in my local CEX (I think) and I'm thinking of buying one because I need a good UMD-racing game for when I'm out and about.

Choosing between Underground Rivals; Carbon: Own the City & Most Wanted 5-1-0.

If you haven't played it I would recommend the Burnout games for PSP. Those were dope

Don't think I've played a NFS game on psp tho

Is Dominator any good?  I was planning on buying the download version of Legends just in case EA ever decide to update the compatibility to make it work on Vita.

I didn't really get on with many PSP racers, the frame rates were generally awful.

Ridge Racer however was absolutely fantastic. Maybe Namco just set the bar too high.

I found the PSP Burnout Legends to be one of the biggest let downs of the PSP. But I went into it expecting PS2 quality (as all the reviews etc at the time promised)

I guess that's why I love the Vita so much, I went into it with the same skepticism as I experienced with PSP and found they'd really closed the gap (between PSV and PS3) far more than PSP managed compared with the PS2.

I used to play Carbon, wasnt to bad from memory although Juiced 2 was my fave PSP racer back then

If only they'd make a GOW for Vita. D:

I think the Vita might finally be starting to take off in Japan. There is no reason for this (no Christmas season) and no new games this week, but sales went up again by over 10k.

http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2014/01/08/japanese-sales-charts-final-fantasy-xx-2-hd-remaster-drops-hard-ps-vita-beats-wii-u/

Said week of Dec 30-Jan 5 sold 88k units. That is up from a high of 75k last week. Note that nothing new came out this week and sales of FFXHD went way down. This while the 3DS dropped 20k or so units. Looking at the hardware charts on VGChartz also shows something different is going on in Japan as no such previous bump is seen at this time of year last year. Has the Vita finally obtained critical mass with good games? Are people buying it up in anticipation of the PS4 release?

Even if the retail sales of FFXHD went way down, it could be nevertheless be the reason for the increased Vita sales.

Perhaps many people bought the digital version when they could not find the retail version in a store nearby.

I had Carbon own the City and I recall enjoying it very much. Nice steering mechanics, graphics blew my mind back then for a handheld title, probably a bit dated for now. And most importantly for me back then, Open World, I loved it. Pro Street didn't have it and i was pissed :-/

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!
