http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2012/02/20/retro-city-rampage-coming-to-ps-vita-and-ps3/

Could be fun and hoppefully it's priced right and have the "buy 1 version get both"

It's not a new game. It's been annocuned for some time now and it's coming to WiiWare and XBLA.

Okey, but it's new for the psvita and ps3. Original it was just for XBLA and WiiWare.

Great quote here by the developer. Oh my, what a difference from the early days of PS3.

"The PS Vita has been a dream to develop for as well. I’ve developed for every console and handheld from the past decade, and the PS Vita’s development system is the best I’ve ever used. Sony’s simply gotten everything right, from the hardware to the tools and support. With such a great development system, teams are able to focus entirely on making the best possible game, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come from other developers in the future."

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

@M.U.G.E.N I am impressed by the 3DS when I upgraded from my DSi. I wasn't expecting much from the Playstation Vita in my view, but from what reviewers have been saying about the system I was expecting about the same quality. I will say that some may be impressed, but not me.

You were playing it with those big old Nintendo loving glasses on.

Weird, somebody said the same thing on another thread. I'm not really sure if I was wearing glasses that day, I have 20-20 vision and never had any problems watching 3D before nor do I get sick or tired. Anyway, the Vita screen wasn't impressive to me. I have two HD t.v.s and a 15.6 HD LED LD Laptop (Acer) so I watch many shows in 1080p as well as i and they look impressive even on 480p. I just don't see what is so impressive about the Vita screen.

There's no 5inch handheld with an oled screen?  Plus I find the screen isn't as "In you're face!" as the amoled from Samsung, it's a lot more subtle and softer while giving you close to black.  Like it gives you the softness of the iPhone and the black of the Galaxies, it makes for a really nice screen.

Well actually there is ;)

Samsung Galaxy Note for mere 500 euro will give you 5" OLED screen and around half the processing power of PSV ;)

A few more reviews have hit, TSA has gone with 9/10 for Motorstorm and 8/10 for virtua tennis.

Eurogamer have reviewed Gravity Daze, really good read and the score is 9/10.

Sorry no links as I'm posting from my phone, but owning a Vita could turn out to be really expensive...

Well, better than an 8 :).

Software sales on VGChartz are going to be lacking, and the internet is going to turn into a bash the Vita soon I think. Though with Sony offering incentives to download over PSN (ex Gravity Daze is dl only in Europe at a reduced price) sales will be better than what they seem. I expect lots of software adjustments from this site when it comes to the Vita.

Gravity Daze is out in Europe :O

how much is it?

I'm new, buying Vita first day. Can't wait for FFX and my god do I hope for FFVII & FFVIII to come to Vita.

welcome :D

what games you buying with the Vita first day?

I've noticed a few statements saying they don't understand the hype. Your not going to playing with it for a few mins sitting there in the store. It's more than just the screen and console like graphics. It's going to be hard to understand till you own one. Then it will click. Everything is nicely intergated, Near has helped me find local friends to play with, We spent and hour in party chat the other night just talking about the vita and trying to figure out what games to buy so we could play in a group. You can send challenges to your friend to beat your time in wipeout, and your ghost in Rayman. It's just all those little things that add up to make this the best system on the market, home console or not. I'm sorry, but the DS just dosn't compare. If you like the DS more power to you, but don't bash the Vita with out extensive time with the system to do so.
