I just hope they introduce more variation on combo systrems to something like Tekken 5 DR, that's the best Tekken followed by Tekken 3... tekken 6 with the bound the combo system became swallow and preditable and favoured wall-carriers like Bruce and other characters...

The best 3D fighter I have played this generation I say is Soul Calibur V, well balanced, fast, deep but easy to begin, each character is pretty different and there aren't almost no redundat fighting styles... I hope that one of the trademarks registered y nacmo recently one is a at least a port of that game for Vita including the missing charcaters like Cassandra, zasalamel, Jung Seong, Taki and others...

 

WHAT?? Another SCV fan, lol most people hate on that game so much. Wish we got a SC game on Vita

Oh, I'm sure all that's true.  Technically, DOA5+ was a very competent game and I'm sure the mechanics are well suited to competitive play.  I just didn't really have any fun with it.  They had really nerfed the one feature that I really loved from DOA2, which was counters, and the actually hand-to-hand fighting I just didn't find anywhere near as fun as Tekken.

I think it didn't help that I missed 2 games worth of storyline, too.  But, I also missed 2 games worth of Tekken storyline (haven't played 4 or 5 D:) yet I still managed to follow that a bit better.  I wish Dark Resurrection was on PSN though.  I keep hearing such great things about it.

nerfed? actually the oposite.. if there's something I don't like about DOA is the constant treat of a combo-breaker counter... but at least now If you make one and miss there are consequence.. in DOA2 there wasn't except for a little combo that even You could break with a counter (what a hassle on high level versus figths).. another thing is that counters/holds deal too much damage and some even lead to more damaging combos...

 

Tekken5 DR is on PSn but for PS3.. a HD port of that for Vita would be great.. I really like T5 a lot... but didn't play the DR so much...

Well, I liked SCV a lot.. is the best I have played since SCII on PS2 over a decade ago... like a I said is well balanced and is fast and very competitive... a shame that Namco didn't supported the game except for item DLC for Custom mode.. :/ there were only two balance patch and only one was a major change...

It's a horrible shell of a game. I'd advise skipping it personally and just going for WRC4.

6$ where?!Physical or digital? for that price You can't be wrong.. the game it self isn't marvelous.. but damn 6/six/SEIS DOLLAR$.. is woorth trying...
