Yeah, but P4G is not only an RPG, it's a great RPG.

That Etrian Odyssey rework with Persona characters looks like trash for kid gamers, to me. Also, they are doing it not because they want a coherent philosophy with 3DS users, but because they can recycle most of the Etrian Odyssey's routines, they have just to tweak some variables, substitute the asssets and redo the animations and the game is done, with minimum risk and costs.

Same with the dance game. They are doing it because they can recycle the Project Diva routines, not because they think that the dance games audience is likely to be found on the Vita.

But, after all, Atlus must make profit, and Sega too, no?

Ah, finally got my vita + 32GB. Comes together with Valhalla knights 3 and I got a year of ps plus as well. That OLED screen is as pretty as they say. Once I save up more money I'll get persona 4 golden and Ys. Can't wait.

But those chibi characters aren't a good marketing idea if the game is targeted towards a seinen audience...

forevercloud3000  seems to be the only person who sees what my point is. 
Though I am not saying PQ has to be the game. it is the only system of the 3 platforms not getting a RPG (doesn't matter if Golden's already on it). That's the point, I've been making. It is easily screwing the fanbase on Vita. Some don't mind, but even online, the only 1 of the 4 games getting negative reactions really is P4D. 
I'll buy each for each system so I can play all of them, but that's me. Should have heard my Persona friends raging in Party chat lol. Was funny, wish I was able to record it. Was the funniest thing ever

Quick question. Is it getting negative reactions in Japan? Because so far we don't even know if P4D (and PQ for that matter) is going to be localized and it seems like the game was made to cater towards the Japanese market, not US/EU. Besides for me the best part of Persona games are the Music, Story, and Characters not combat. So as long as P4D can nail those i'm fine with it.

*Sorry if any of this was already talked about in yours and Mugen's panty bunching contest as I tried to ignore those posts.

At the risk of reigniting this bunfight, I believe that the Battle of Z thing is true - PS360 versions get a global physical+DL release, vita version is available physically in Japan and Europe but is download only in NA
