Okay guys, I need some input....well, mostly just encouragement.

right now I'm working on Rayman Origins on the Vita (loving it so far, my god it's gorgeous), but once I'm done I have no idea how long it's going to take my next Vita games to get here. Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Wipeout 2048 are both in the mail, but until then I need to figure out something to play (considering more ModNation or Rayman). I kinda wanted to try Disgaea 3 when it was released on the Vita, but I really didn't want to jump in at the 3rd game so I quickly dismissed it. Anyway, while I was checking out the system's features and the stuff available on the PSN, I came across three Disgaea titles for sale for pretty cheap.

I did some research and found that Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness was a remake of the first game in the series and it's only 15 bucks. I read up on it to find it was getting consistently good reviews, and I remember it being known for having a quirky sense of humor.

So, I'm wondering if people can recommend it. I know it's a pretty damn long game, and I'm not usually TOO into JRPG's, but Final Fantasy is my favorite series and I've liked a fair share of JRPG's in my time. Plus, I've been told to get it for ages.

Well, mostly I jsut wanna hear who liked it and why, because unless people gimme good reasons not to, I plan on buying it anyway. Encourage me!

we should make a list of the Games we have tried and know do cross play with PS3?
if anyone here has both quick as you can try and test some games, just putting in all your disks and see what works?

@me - i told myself many times over that i would never again buy into any system early into it's lifecycle again. but i have 5 weeks of travel coming up in the next 8 (staring now, i'm in Mn) so...i've preorder a vita. here's hoping i don't regret this. :P
