Well we dont know when or if we will get it, but DW8XL is coming to Vita. that will definitely be a lot better than Next.

Yeah, that's why I'll play through Dynasty Warriors Next first, the leap between 2012 Vita titles and 2013 Vita titles is pretty darn mind blowing.

But in the meantime get Next.  It's cheap, and very enjoyable.

It's got the problems of all DW games of being a bit repetitive, but I've had a lot of fun playing it.  And Conquest mode means it's a game I won't trade in once I'm finished.

Yeah, I agree with you, I just didn't think that you could side step or whatever in the DOA games. My bad :)

Also you guys looking at DW:NEXT for vita, I'd say it's well worth it - it was actually the first game I played on my vita and I spent just over 100 hours on it. It can be a little repetitive (and easy in conquest mode, eventually your weapons and items let you take out like half a dozen officers in a single combo) but if you're into musou, it's a good choice and it's not that expensive at the minute. I'm also tempted by DW8XL on vita, but I'm wondering whether to wait until I get a PS4 and just remote play from that version for the best experience

You're out of the loop. :p it was first shown off a few months ago. I think it's a Vita exclusive. Should be out soon. :)

It looked cool, but nothing particularly addictive though. However the daily challenge thing IMO completely changes it. 1 course per day, 1 real run at it. Going to make it far more interesting than the usual daily challenges where people spam until they perfect it. The fact the guy wipes out having smashed the current record in challenge shows just how competitive this could get.

Oh and just because I am so excited... I actually think this could turn out to be GOTY and hate Sony so much for not pushing this more than they have done...

So Vita folks,

Playstation 4 is going to crush everything. 1 million sold in 24hours, in their weakest market... It's insane (really it's insane, people on internet feint it's "normal" or just worth a "congrats" but believe me it's insane, just insane) and pretty revelant.

What does it have to do with us, vita players ? Listen, Sony is clearly back as the king of the game. The vita already sold decent ( 8 millions or something like this ? someone to clarify ? It's pretty decent actually ) with a very weak support and Sony being in the "financial red". That's how powerful the playstation brand is. Now, I can testify to you that if Playstation 4 sell as well as in N-A ( and I doubt it won't, it's really their weakest market ), Sony will have plenty of rooms and money to support Vita and make it the console it should have been. And we're not speaking about years, but month at most.

So, people, it's time to breath and smile. The future is bright for vita owners.
