PS Vita & PS3 Crossplatform Games Only Require Single Purchase

http://www.maxvideogaming.com/2012/441516/sony/ps-vita-ps3-crossplatform-games-only-require-single-purchase/

Not planning it NOW... But like PSone Classic wern´t on PSp at first I still believe that PS2 classics will be on Vita for sure.. Just give them time ask them for that ;)

On the PS3 games.. i don't what they mean... Some PS3 PSN only games will be available on Vita too since first day..  Some You will need to purchase it again some not... but Vita is stil a whole different hardware from PS3 so "Compatibilty" with all PS3 games is not possible.. Is better that they take time and port the best of PSN eventually or make sequels of the better games (a inFAMOUS mission based game with Empire City and New Marais, how that sound?!, Fat PRincess, Flower, JOURNEY!!  http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/02/16/journey-takes-its-first-steps-this-march/  <---DON'T MISS THIS!!<--, etc...) that take advantages of ALL the features of Vita like, Near, gyroscope, AR, etc...

That Sounds better, isn´t it?

@MUGEN: This FAQ should be on the first Page of the Trhead: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/02/16/ps-vita-the-ultimate-faq/

First off I need to say I have spent over 24 hours playing with my Vita and actually know what I'm talking about. THIS SYSTEM IS AMAZING!!! Everything about it just feels smooth and great. It has a couple software issues here and there but nothing that won't get fixed in an update. Again the hardware is great!

So now on to the games. Ihave Little Deviants and Uncharted. LD seems fun and is great to show off the vita features. I haven't made it too far in story so I cant say too much but right now i'd give it a 7. Uncharted however I've spent around 10hours with and am only 57% done. It is on par with the second and third games, no joke. As an Uncharted fan this means it gets a solid 10 like the other three games so I'll compare it to them. Graphics are about 1.8, almost as good as the second. Story is almost the same as Uncharted 1, as in type. Actual events are more similar to the second. One thing I love are all the comments while playing. Very similar to the second, even better. Also I like the characters more, well a few at least. And now I'm to the gimmicks. First off they aren't! Everything feels intuitive and natural. And most are optional, so everybody stop complaining! I love cleaning artifacts and the such using the touch screen. Also the gyroscopic aiming works great! I have got so many head shots because of it. And that brings me to bonus stuff notin the other games. As well as a bunch of treasures their are charcoal drawings and photos. They add so much replay value. I dont just recommend this game, I recommend buying a Vita just for this game. And remember, I reviewed it like a console game with much higher standards than portables.

And can anyone in America get the AR demos? Please help me find those!

Sent from my Vita!!!!!.!!.!. (excuse those extra !, I just realized the touch screen works without actally)touchibg it

@JoeTheBro I'm so jealous I have to wait some more, love your review of Golden Abyss.

About the "PS Vita & PS3 Crossplatform Games Only Require Single Purchase" it seems its for some PSN games and in some cases like Ultimate marvel vs capcom and Wipeout is only for the DLC.

Yeah.. On UMvC3 you can use the DLC You purchased on PS3 to use  them for Vita (and Viceversa) also You can use the Vita as a Controlle using the touch screen for inputs...

On Wipeout is that you can play only with Wipeout HD/Fury owners from PS3.. By now only on some HD/Fury tracks... and later will be a DLC update for HD/Fury that will include 2048 tracks, etc... I'm not sure if it will be only for Online or will include the campaing or if it will be Paid or not... that's What I know till now...

I've got several japanese demos on my PS3 that I wonder if I can transfer over to my Vita. I got the demos through my Japanese account, but that's not my primary account. Tridrakious is my primary account.

@Demoni

Thanks and so far no. He might end up popping in but I don't expect it.

I downloaded Asphalt Injection demo and even though it's just a simple racing game it's pretty fun. Wish more games had demos.

If the licensing is anything like that of the PSP's then no, since each PSV only supports one user account (you can reformat and reassign accounts, but you lose all access to data associated with that orginal account).

I have some PSP and PSOne games on my secondary PSN account and none of those can be transfered to the PSP that's linked to my primary account.

Unless the demos aren't assigned to a specific account, they probably aren't playable on any device that isn't linked to the account that content was purchased/downloaded on.

That is pretty much what any PS3 or PSV owner wants to see.

It gives PS3 owners motivation to buy a PSV if they want to take a console game on the go, but the flip side of that is for games that support this, you no longer have to own a PSV to play them (good for players, not so good for Sony if they're trying to use these games to sell the PSV).

That was actually the only reason why I bought a PSP; there were a bunch of exclusive titles that simply weren't playable on anything else including the PS3.

But  I know I'll be taking advantage of that one purchase, cross platform license whenever it's supported.

The reviews kinda dogged the vitas web browser, but itspretty decent. Alot better than my ipad, which

im about to sell. I love this thing! Send me an invite, mmm_fish_tacos.
