Ive had my VITA since launch and I really feel its hard done by. Sure it had a high price tag and the requirement of memory cards was a pain but with games like Uncharted Golden Abyss, Soul Sacrifice, Assassins Creed, Killzone Mercenary, PS1/PSP Library and not to forget some amazing indie games. But its missing a Grand Theft Auto because that was what made the PSP what it is and will show people that big games are actually coming to VITA.

At the time Aksys picked this up, there wasn't a whole lot of other games to choose from.

PSO2 & Tales of Innocence/Hearts wouldn't work, as SEGA/Namco seem unwilling to let other companies localize their games.  Same deal with Valkyria Chronicles 3 & Final Fantasy Type-0 on the PSP, probably.

Then there's the niche stuff we've seen in the past few weeks like Hyperdimension Neptunia; Exstetra & Akiba Strip, but iirc none of that had been announced at the time Aksys were negociating this deal.

That leaves the niche stuff from earlier in this year.  Demon Gaze was picked up by NISA; Monster Monpiece is a harder sell than most games; so I guess they picked up this.  I'm not complaining, I'll try it out at some point.

it adds to the arguement that the price for ffx(2) is pretty OK.

You'll get 2 games on 2 expensive mem.cards with 100+hours of gameplay for the same price as a nintendo disc with a low polygon count and low textured game with >50h gameplay.

Well, I do agree with you.  I think the price is fine.  If anything, I thought that selling 3-game HD Collections for £25-30 (the price Ratchet was when it launched) was just ridiculously good.  I couldn't believe they were selling it for that.

But still, full price for Wind Waker HD is extortionate.  It's an anomaly, and shouldn't be used as an example of "well this collection looks good by comparison".
