Remember PSP compatibility at launch on vita, they fixed that a lot.
Remember NO PS1 compatibility at all at launch, they fixed that.
I have SOME faith in SONY.

supposedly you'll be able to activate Vitas touch control's by pressing L3 and R3, bringing up a pointer to move around

Ah awesome news this gives a high probability that all Vita games will work with the VTV in the future.

I find it amazing that the Vita slim has the same battery life the PSP had. 6 hours. very good

It will be a good idea and the most important part is that it is SIMPLE to implement from SONY's side.

And it should work nice also with LBP in my opinion.

I'm actually very curious about the LCD screen on Vita. I've been comparing my cellphone and Vita the whole day (I have to note that my cellphone has a year old IPS panel). I'm also not sure if thinner Vita is a good thing or a bad thing for my "big hands" lol

But overall I'm very pleased with current portfolio of PS products. Vita TV IMO has more potential than things like OUYA, or even Apple TV, Google TV... especially if we think about Gaikai for a bit.
