I couldn't get into Vlll I don't why though...

VIII is my favourite :P

I'm guessing we just have massively different tastes.

VIII is one of my favourites in terms of story, characters and soundtrack =) it must've helped that i was the same age as the main characters at the time i played it (17) and that some characters reminded me of myself and my friends in some aspects.

Every JRPG character seems to be 17 these days.

I don't wanna turn 18.

I certainly don't want to go through those years again.

Characters & soundtrack is where the game gets me, too (I also like the storyline; even if it is a little iffy in places, I really dug the warring nations / sorceresses angle of it).

Check out the metacritic comparison for the 3DS and Vita.

The draw system is where FFVIII gets me.

Gets me to stop playing it, that is.

I don't really know what's going on in this tweet, but Devolver Digital (publishers of Hotline Miami) tweeted Duke Nukem 3D running on Vita and mentioned Abstraction Games (ported Hotline Miami to Vita) in their tweet:

I would definitely make a purchase, especially if it gets the 'enhanced' port' treatment. My apetite for Vita games is growing with consumption.

Yeah I want to tryout IX and VII...but PS one graphics is a little off putting. I wish we got the Steam version of VII.

I'll assure you FFIX doesn't look outdated on Vita, it's  very detailed game. Only thing is the resolution is noticable. Also FFVII you'll be screwed either way. Why? The PC version DOES NOT have upgraded graphics but just AA, and basically upscaled to a higher res with smoothing. It sounds nice, but imagine the amount of flaws that become noticable (I seen first hand).
