I don't know how legit it is, but apparently a Starbound dev is looking to see how interested people are in PS3/4/Vita versions:

Gonna post in there about my interest. I'm really, really looking forward to Terraria Vita; Starbound on Vita would be even better!

Anyways, I wonder what will be announced at Gamescom, excited to see what it is.

Will it be a revision that doesnt use the memory cards that they use now? Will it be a revision that ties along with the PS4? Will it be a memory card price cut with some major games?

Cant wait!

All of that stuff sounds rubbish.  I just want more games!

Yea I want that too.. GTA SA Stories by Rockstar Leeds, I'll keep believing.

And surely some Jrpg is going to be localised, all my bets on one Tales of.

They don't need a hardware revision with Vita, just 16-32gb of onboard memory. Though I did read that the reason Sony's memory cards are priced like they are, is so that retailers have some high profit accessories to sell with the consoles to encourage them to actually stock Vita in the first place (with the push on digital, retail has no incentive to push the device at all).

I read somewhere that 50% of memory card price is pure profit for the retailer.

While I can't speak for other retailers, at Best Buy profit of memory cards definetely aren't that high. I wish though since my employee discount depends on how much it costs Best Buy to get a product. Now I can't say the actual amount of profit on memory card for obvious reasons but I'd say its around 20-30%.

Sony have confirmed a pre-gamescon conference on the 20th of August :D 6pm BST so will be between 10am (west coast) and 12 noon (east coast) depending where in the US you are.

Let's hope there's some Vita booty there!

20-30% ain't half bad, probably most than what they make off of games and other accessories.

I bougth two days ago and yesterday in the morning played it till the battery drain out... is pretty good, but I have to point that only the control schemes was remade, the graphicals aren't something of PSVita, looks better than some PSP games but is not at Vitas level by far, 3D stages are plain texterued and very pixelated... and have some framerate issues, I can sense it sometimes, but nothing that could drag the gameplay...

When they say he remade it for Vita, they mean he made it compliant for PSMobile purely so it could also be played on Vita. Pretty much all android phones, especially those which are PlayStation Mobile certified, already had full access to the game via Googleplay.

So this guy has got it through PSMobile just to allow Vita gamers to play it too. Awesome sauce if you ask me! I'll be sure to give this a look now it has "real" controls :D

Oh, nice.  I hope this is a sign that they've got a lot to show.

Pre-ordered Dragon's Crown, thoughts anyone?
