How many vita games do you have in your library?

0-10 184 31.51%

11-20 109 18.66%

21-30 69 11.82%

30+ 215 36.82%

Total:577

Japan heart Vita.
Kresnik heart Japan.

Seriously though, nice news. I was kinda expecting Disgaea 4 from this even, but it's cool to hear the confirmation.

edit: Just checked out a video of Criminal Girls for PSP... meh.  And the fact that it's by Imageepoch just made me a little more pissy that we're never going to see 7th Dragon 2020 in the west.

Anybody here played the Ys PSP games?

I'm not sure whether to go for Ys: Seve or Ys: The Oath in Felghana.

I did. They are slightly different.

If you played Ys 6 on the PS2, Oath plays just like it. Its only one character, chibi sized. It has a zelda like progression and its very fast paced.

Ys seven i thought slowed down a little bit. You actually control 3 characters and swap between them. The gearing up also become more like a traditional RPG than Zelda like structure of upgrades.

I like Ys 6 and Oath better. I have been holding off on advancing on seven until i have played Celceta wich is Ys 4. Oath is Ys 3 btw.

In all honesty its worth to get them both though. I personally like the Oath style better though. Lets say Oath is more of a classic game design and seven is a more traditional one, if it makes sense. :)

Damn. That timeline is messed up. I probably won't try to play them in order or anything.

I might go for Oath, then Seven and Celceta if I like them (and have the time).

Disgaea 4: Return
Criminal Girls: Invitation

Both announced for Vita at Nippon Ichi Software's anniversary event.

More RPGs!

I"d really like to say halleluja because I like strategy games and I've played lots of them.

But Disgea is a mystery to me.I played ff tactics advanced and almost never died,i played fire emblem on hard without loosing a fighter a levelling up every single class to the max,but when i started playing disgea on my vita the game destroyed me.I played around 20 levels and then there was no chance for me to win a fight.

There is so much to do in this game but the lousy tutorial explains nothing that is really important and the instruction manual is tiny as a stamp.

Is this game just for IQ 200+ only or is there a way for common people to master?

It's not for tactical geniuses or anything. I think it's just tough for some people to get into because there are so many systems going on at once, and you just don't know what to do and how... unless you do know, probably from playing a previous Disgaea. Like geo grids, and throwing, and team attacks, and using mana to boost your skills, and reincarnating characters...

Basically, it's just a crazy game that will fuck you up pretty early on if you try to play it like FF Tactics. And the craziest thing of all is that you'll finish the story at level 100 or so, but the post-game content is far, far longer and you'll want to get to level 9999, and then reincarnate back to level 1... multiple times.

And a new Criminal Girls, huh? Jesus Christ. Get hype, Vita pervs!

This guy is really committed on making a bioshock game for the vita. i really wonder what he has planned. So come on Sony make the deal and while your at it get some 2k franchise over like NBA, XCOM, Borderlands, Civilization, The Darkness and Mafia. Hey if your gonna why not go all out!! Right!

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

And NIS is a beast. I put like 120 hours on Disgaea 3.
