I did. They are slightly different.

If you played Ys 6 on the PS2, Oath plays just like it. Its only one character, chibi sized. It has a zelda like progression and its very fast paced.

Ys seven i thought slowed down a little bit. You actually control 3 characters and swap between them. The gearing up also become more like a traditional RPG than Zelda like structure of upgrades.

I like Ys 6 and Oath better. I have been holding off on advancing on seven until i have played Celceta wich is Ys 4. Oath is Ys 3 btw.

In all honesty its worth to get them both though. I personally like the Oath style better though. Lets say Oath is more of a classic game design and seven is a more traditional one, if it makes sense. :)

Damn. That timeline is messed up. I probably won't try to play them in order or anything.

I might go for Oath, then Seven and Celceta if I like them (and have the time).
