I hear you on GRID! I'm gutted Codemasters aren't supporting Vita, but they're bleeding money at the moment and have pretty much shut all operations down and become a Racing Studio. They've even stopped publishing their games now (They used to publish in Europe) now Namco, I think it was, have taken over as they already did in the US. Sad really, another fallen giant of the 80s.
I'd also love to have DIRT on Vita! At least PS4 streaming to Vita will allow me to play this stuff around the house when I can't get to the TV.
I'm lucky as I'm more of an arcade racer fan (love old school Sega racers!) so NFS for me is pretty much the perfect handheld racer. It's actually Burnout Paradise 2 with licensed cars :D

They're make niche game only buyed by a very few. It's already a miracle they could have survived for such a long time by making game that almost nobody care about... Even Demon soul's is not really worth saving them for Sony. |
You do realize Persona sells in the hundreds of thousands in Japan right? It's not niche. It would definitely help Sony compete with Nintendo on home turf, where Microsoft is a non-factor, if all Atlus IPs were suddenly PS exclusive. It would equally hurt if suddenly Persona were to become non-PS exclusive or non-PS period. Depending on the publisher this could very well happen.
Atlus doesn't matter outside Japan, but Sony can't afford to lose more ground at home either.

Yeah, i realise it. I checked the charts before righting the comment before. The last title barely sold 800m. Not that much a big deal for Sony, really.
Ps3 sells by tons in Japan. If there's one market that Sony does not need to worry about, it's japan. And we all now, except some very few hard fan, nobody care about those games outside japan.
I'd disagree, PS4 will be going from a standing start, and Nintendo's weaker 3DS dominates the Vita there. The power difference between PS4 and Wii U will matter least in Japan.
The fool is me. I forget this thread was a vita thread... Sorry sorry ^^
if sony were to buy Atlas,. great!
..if not, please oh please just let atlas make it out of this alive. they much such awesome games!!
Atlus balance sheet is good, they'll be fine. It's just where their future releases will end up that's open to speculation.

So is not so great but it's something... and for a f2p fighting game is good..." No. Tekken R is a good fighting game period. It lacks all those retard mechanics ( bound, tag, relunch after a rollback... ) and the graphics are stunning. Gameplay and visually wise this is the best tekken since Tekken DR. If this is ported to vita, what awesome it would be. Fuck persona, download tekken revolution on your ps3 so we could have a tekken on vita. That's way more important than a persona game. Tekken is already quite good seller as a franchise, but this Tekken is quite good too. |
Sorry , Tekken Revolution is fun.. but is too basic... and the new mechanics of special aren't bad but are not quite well implemented.. because most people do is spam it.. even when You arepunishing and ahead on frames theres a possibility that one of those attacks become unstopable and hit you hard and iof it is critical worst the case... -,-
The Idea is not bad, but need some changes, first and all the crtical should dissapear and the special moves should have a requirement like having Rage.. and the rage should be customizable, instead of bigger damage some could give you others add-ups... like the bound, life recovery, or special moves...
