"You do realize Persona sells in the hundreds of thousands in Japan right? It's not niche. It would definitely help Sony compete with Nintendo on home turf, where Microsoft is a non-factor, if all Atlus IPs were suddenly PS exclusive. It would equally hurt if suddenly Persona were to become non-PS exclusive or non-PS period. Depending on the publisher this could very well happen."
Yeah, i realise it. I checked the charts before righting the comment before. The last title barely sold 800m. Not that much a big deal for Sony, really.
Ps3 sells by tons in Japan. If there's one market that Sony does not need to worry about, it's japan. And we all now, except some very few hard fan, nobody care about those games outside japan.
