(it has screw holes!) well have you seen the lightbar next to the triggers in the DUAL SHOCK 4? With that vita will ALSO be a standard controller PS4 (touchscreen->touchpad in DS4, rear touchpad->L2,L3,R2,R3)

add lightbar addon to the mistery port, fix with screws----->

Seems very very legit to me, I tought about it before the PS4 reveal, lol! We will eventually get a very cheap second controller for our future ps4. Also have you ever used video-out in psp? I did, it is cool at first, but later you will forget you have the cables, like what happened to the psp cradle with remote, just used to connect psp to the stereo. And what about using touchscreen when you don't see exactly where your fingers are going?

That's why is a Custom FirmWare... :/ On that same CFW You can play EVERY PS3 game via remote play on Vita, and I have watched people doing on 3.55cfw... just are some altered FW, is not the same...

The emulator in the ps3 firmware is NOT in 3.55, it is the sony made ORIGINAL emulator, since 4.21 if I remember correctly. About the remote play for ps3 games don't trust the videos, they show only the very very few games that works well, generally it is useless in my opinion, lag, video quality, game doen't start... I simply can convert any PS2 disc I have to encripted PS2classics format, the emulator works very well for every game I tried Also EVERY PS3 (original) have the PSP emu, it is locked to only play Minis, there are a lot of cool thigs in the PS3 but Sony doesn't want us to make use of them.

in my opinion: PS2 classics on vita can be done very very fast IF Sony wants. (more ram than ps3!)

Ah, I guess not about that HDMI out. Still that mystery port could be something. I doubt it would be a light bar attachment. I don't think that will be necessary for PS4 games, more of a PS Move integration.

It definitely took some getting used to :D I'm used to it now. A white background is definitely better. About activity wise I have just been posting quite a bit there and right now helping out with the official sony E3 thread ;) Look forward to seeing my work lol

and yeah I'm a tiny tiny tiny bit optimistic about Vita and E3. SOme pretty cool news about the system/games/support these days.

Well, not every game will use that but if the dual shock 4 has the light bar someone will make use of it, considering every ps4 ships with DS4 and camera, in order to be a relatively complete DS4, the vita needs just that and the screw holes suggests that in my opinion. (there's no point adding a camera or the gps antenna there like the psp, my vita has both already).

But again: do you really care about hdmi out?

Nah HDMI out doesn't matter to me, plus I think people will be disapointed with the resolution anyway. I think having screws on that port indicates it is a cord and not an add on though.
