I took mine apart to see the battery, wanted to test them to see if they were still good, but I had a hard time pulling the chasis apart. I did manage to open it a crack and find out the batteries are in the handles. They are probably just regular rechargable lithium AA. I'm not sure if there is more than the two trigger batteries in it but you could replace them with a little work. But those batteries are expensive and you might be better off buying a new one anyway. Isn't there a trick to charging it? Make sure to charge it seperately or something right? And the light does go solid green like it should, it just blinks red and green?

EDIT: Holy crap. Mine is actually working, solid green light. Now to test the battery length.

Can't really answer that question, I think I got a bad one and never once had a green light on. It's not the battery, it's the connector. I think it's come loose. It will charge if i hold in in. But your right, i just need to go get a new one. Sony should be making things like this for it. It would be much better quality.

I've been the Vita in the wild person for some guy once, he didn't have his on him so I wasn't as lucky. Still waiting to see one in the wild myself. Trying to sell the ones at Radio Shack, they even discounted to $219 but no one goes to Radio shack for games, let alone one right next to a Gamestop.

Well, last year when Ragnarok Odyssey released, I saws two people playing adhoc. Then last january, I saw a little with a Vita and two weeks ago I saw an ex-pat with one while getting a pedicure. And just last wednesday, when I went to my local gamestore to get a $50 PSN card, I saw some dude and probably his little brother or something buying two Vitas. They got a game each, NInja GAiden Sigma 2+ and Ragnarok Odyssey. They also got one memory card each, 8Gbs....I was like...WUUUUT? That wont get you anywhere...Then I thought, the probably have no intentions of getting any games from the PSN so I was like...meh..

ive only seen 1 Vita aside from mine which was at school. the kid loves it but unfortunately im not friends with him and he doesent have Soul Sacrifice (which is my only MP game i play). my sisters fiancée is looking at getting 1 but with ps4 coming he will most likely save for it instead.

Go slap your sister's fiancee and demand that he go out and get a Vita this instant!

Every since Soul Sacrifice was released, every i walk in a game store at lease one or two people buying a vita.
