I took mine apart to see the battery, wanted to test them to see if they were still good, but I had a hard time pulling the chasis apart. I did manage to open it a crack and find out the batteries are in the handles. They are probably just regular rechargable lithium AA. I'm not sure if there is more than the two trigger batteries in it but you could replace them with a little work. But those batteries are expensive and you might be better off buying a new one anyway. Isn't there a trick to charging it? Make sure to charge it seperately or something right? And the light does go solid green like it should, it just blinks red and green?
EDIT: Holy crap. Mine is actually working, solid green light. Now to test the battery length.
