well, yeah...I already mentioned that all my rantings are just "my opinion" and that thats all it is, my opinion.

Also, I am familiar with the leveling of spells as I did mention that I leveled up some spells to their max on the demo. and yes, all it did was increase usage by 1 per level increase. Not sure how you don't run out of spells on the demo, especially on my first attempt against that harpy thingy.

Just to be clear, I only tried the demo and I played each lvl/quest only once until I got the the harpy thingy quest. Should have I grinded for more spells? probably...should it be needed? Nope, for a game that's trying to lure people in, making the game aggravating very early on isn't the way to do it. Truth be told, I so wanted to get into the game that I forced myself to play the demo for 10 hours...saddly it just didnt get better.

Also, I never said everything sucked balls! I did say that when not running around trying to look for spell refills, the overall flow the the game is quite good. My beef with the game is with the "limited spells" early on in the demo plus the fact that it takes quite sometime to draw out the souls or offerings or whatever, leaving you very open to attacks etc etc which brings me back to my second problem that the game isn't really hard, just that its artificially hard.

Lastly, yeah, I know, I'm ripping this game a new one and that's because I was sooooo really looking forward to getting it only to find out that I dont like it. Its like waiting in anticipation for spiderman 3, only to find out that it sucked so much.

thanks but now i have another problem. i just renewed my ps+ sub but all my games say they only have 6 days remaining, while Sine More which i just downloaded has 96 days. will these games be blocked or will it give me my 96 days that i should have?

wait, what? Sacrificing monsters also replinishes your offering? Didn't realize this 0_0. I am Devine right now and rarely sacrifice. I even had an assassin sent after me because they think I am a bad Sorcerer HAHAHA XD

You didn't know that? I just played the demo and even I found that out. just shows how awful a job they did getting players up to speed with how the game mechanics works/flows.

I've seen that on some of my games, too, but they work as long as you still have a subscription.

ok, thought i may have had to redownload them or something to fix it and i did not want to do that

1. I do it just at the beginning, and uses it regularly because it help a lot.. i got acostumed... and is useful... You can still Doge while in this mode so is not excuse to get hit by a enemy...

2. With the book you refer to the menue in form of book.. or to librom itself? because Librom is fun.. I love that guy/thing XD

3. Use Arrows or similar trowing weopons to aim at the arpy.... or a tigths weakpoint on big or moving bosses...

4. probably as you progress on the story the enemies are getting stronger.. come back to the first levels and You'll find how easy is to smash those enemies... and the use of the Sigils have a important part on it.. these sigil make easier to electrifiad, burn, froze, petrified or venom the enemies..and can make your defense tighter or your attack more powerful... letting you balance a little your choices...

5. If you make a build of only saving enemies that could make harder your figth against some enemies... that's when You have to know how to exloit its weakness... If you use a Shield when the cerberus (or the more overpowered Werewolf later ;) you will cry with him) try to charge you running it will strike against You and will be vulnerable a time.. each time less time so the first time try to make use of use and smash his faces with a rock giant arm... or anything made of rock... Dragon Egg of Rock is useful too to hit him on his cursed parts... once you broke his cursed parts will be vulnerable again a little time.. take chance to recharge your offerings or something... but beware... each time will be more agressive... but with a level of 10:17  and sigils to make more powerful rocks and arm attacks and hihger damage.. just try times I used this estrategy :) ALONE!.. because magusar die just at the beginning... that cheap AI of thegame is the only critticable I found...

1. I know you can dodge, problem is, I'm looking around lol! It still sucks balls IMO.

2. The librom itself. I'm all for reading, hell, before the advent of the internetz and gaming, I use to read books...a lot of books...I even read little women, little men, and whole bunch of other classic novels and stuff. But the Librom is soooo slow, I just cant get into it. Sure, the Idea is nice, but the execution sucks balls for me.

3.Yeah, I got that non elemental missle thingy blade whatever which I upgraded to lvl 3 (maxed out for the demo). I can aim the parts no problem, but the damn magic runs out even before I can make a dent. LIke I said, difficulty is artificial. If you gave me a cheap as short sorwd in this game that was weak as shit, I'd have an easier time than using all those stupid spells. The paterns aren't a problem, I can dode them all prety easily. Only thing is, it gets soooooo old soooooo fast waiting for a weak ass oger to spawn etc. I even just let that stupid three head dogy do the killing for me.

4. Yeah, with the 19/1 build, I tried the first stages and I didn't notice any difference.

5. I just cant get into the flow of the game. The actuall fight is fun enough, but having a fight get prolonged just because I ran out of magic and have to run around waiting for the oferings to restore or some runt to spawn isn't my idea of fun.

Nice concept, but the execution for me sucks. could have been better....

Only way that I'd change my mind on this game is if there was some super skimpy outfit that I can use to make a damn sexy character with lots of legs and top/side boob exposre...yeah....I'm that shallow and perverted...(pls dont judge me ... then again, I dead get senran kagura for the fan service...and doa for the bouncy booby...yeah...I'm a pervert )

3. There are other trowing weapons like the Dragon Egg... these deal a huge damage but are slower and harder to aim.. You must be careful... and there are upgraded version of the arrows... that deal more damage and by default lhave more "uses"... Some magics come in tree sizes, Small, medium and Big... most of Magics i use rigth now are medium or special bosses magics... :)

5. that's the deal of the game... You must sacrifice somtimes to egt into some figths.. You should try Online play, could end being better for You...

and a little trick to deal with little enemies while You're fighting a boss... is to circle arround and let the boss kill them.... make sure they're allways between You and the boss.. and let the boss make the work... and when You stun a boss make sure the little enemies aren't near You.. they could make you slip the chance to make a great damage...

about other points... Well.. that's your personal perception.. i like the design of the book and the menu arround it... and like that book XD... BUt I would have loved more exploration on the missions... more enmies n screen some times (not sure if later on the higer ranked missions are..) and better AI... Some cities to visit would have been cool... but these are things that could end on the next SS if possible...

When playing a RPG  do you..

A). Keep a constant progression foward, never stopping to doidle in any one spot. When faces with a tough enemy that you are not at an appropriate level for defeating easily, you keep trying until the odds eventually turn in your favor.

B). Take time inbetween story elements to practice skills and level up, ensuring you are strong enough to face anything that comes your way.

C). Occassionally stop to level up.  A mix of forward progression and prep making.

Because a game like this only bodes well for one of the above....

3. yeah....the demo cap for leveling spells is at lvl 3...sooooo...yeah....plus, not a lot of good spells are unlocked on the demo.

5. yeahhhhh....online isn't an option. I couldnt play ragnarok odyssey online due to my crapy connections, I'm 110% sure that I wouldn't be able to play online with SS too. Either the demo sucked and isn't an indication of how the real game flows or the real game will just re-enforce my dislike for the game.

Yeah, I accidentaly found that out after the harpy dived bombed and hit the huge rat. I used that tactic on the doggy for a while and after half an hour of running around, I got bored and decided to call it quits.

I know, most of my issues with the game are just my opions and shouldn't be taken too seriously, since you know, its just my take on the game. cities would probably be nice. More customization would be nice too, like upper armor, lower armor and head gears and stuff. One of the things I liked in God eater was that there were a lot of costume combinations that can be done thus making an almost unique character.

Anyways, I just got $50 PSN card and am currently deciding on what to get. I'm inclined to get Atelier Totori Plus since, you know, its an RPG and I'm really starving for a new RPG right now, but I'm still undecided since its like $40 big ones! If I decide to get SS, I'm woried that I'll just hate it even more thus wasting $35. On the plus side, If I did get SS, I'd have $15 left over for guilty gear....hmmmmm.... I think I'll sleep on it first.

Yeah....I'm an excessive B.... I usually end up over leveled.

As for games like SS, I did pump in over 400 hrs in Gods Eater Burst, 150+ hours in lord of apocalyps and am currently 300+ hours in Ragnarok Odyssey. I'm very familiar with farming and grinding for materials/weapons and such to upgrade, make or card better weapons/equipments etc.

Here's a question, did you play the Demo or did you wait for the game to release? If you played the demo first, does it get better or is the demo an indication of what to expect, ie I'll still dislike the game.
